Vancouver Whitecaps lead the way in the Western Conference of the MLS, having won 10 of their 14 matches as they look to go one better after reaching the final of the MLS Cup last year, losing to Inter Miami.

Vancouver have scored the joint most goals of any side in the Western Conference (34 - 2.42 per game), with only Inter Miami (39) and their opponents here (36) scoring more goals than the Whitecaps across the entirety of MLS.

Cincinnati's games in the MLS so far have been crazy, their 15 matches have produced 73 goals (4.86 per game), which is more than any other side across both conferences. 

Each of Cincinnati’s last five matches has seen 3+ goals, with their most recent outing producing eight goals as they came away 6-2 winners over Orlando.

These sides last met in October 2025 in a clash that produced eight goals as Chicago came away 5-3 winners over Inter Miami as the away side.

Neither side has changed their attacking style too much since that eight-goal thriller, promising more goals in this meeting between two sides who are only separated by one spot in the Eastern Conference.

Chicago have a game in hand on Inter Miami and can move within two points of their opponents here with victory on the road. Their six away matches have produced 18 goals so far this season (3.0 per game), and they’ve seen 3+ goals in eight of their last nine matches.

Inter Miami have only managed to win two of their six home games so far this term, with those matches producing 29 goals (4.83 per game).

Philadelphia have really struggled so far this season after a pretty promising campaign last year. 

They’ve only managed to win one of their 15 matches, losing 10 of those games, which is a set of results that leave them rock bottom of the Eastern Conference.

Philadelphia have seen 48 goals across these 15 games (3.2 per game) and have failed to win any of their last eight matches, with half of those games seeing 3+ goals. 

New York Red Bulls have seen 57 goals across their 15 matches this term (3.8 per game), with 30 of those goals coming across eight away games (3.75 per game).

Montreal have always struggled on the road in the MLS, and the same has been true this term, with the away side coming into this clash against the top side in the Eastern Conference having won just one of their eight away games - losing six of those matches.

Montreal have conceded 24 goals across those games (3.0 per game), making it incredibly difficult on paper for them to stand a chance in this clash. 

Nashville have lost just one of their seven home games this season, conceding just two goals across those matches, which is the best defensive home record of any side in the Eastern Conference.
