This is another very important clash at the bottom of the Irish Premier Division as bottom placed Sligo Rovers take on a Drogheda side who could move eight points clear of their relegation rivals with a win here.

Sligo Rovers have seen 2+ goals in each of their last nine matches across all competitions, notably conceding 2+ goals themselves in seven of these matches - suggesting that Drogheda may be able to cover this line on their own.

Sligo have the worst home record of any side in the Irish top flight, winning just three of their 12 matches with these games producing 2.66 goals per game.

This is an important game at the bottom of the Irish Premier Division with Waterford currently sitting four points from safety, and six points behind their opponents here.

There’s still plenty of time for Waterford to climb out of the drop zone but they’ll be eager to avoid being cut off from the other candidates for the drop.

Galway United have seen 3+ goals in each of their last five matches across all competitions, most recently running out 4-0 winners in the FAI Cup following an important 3-2 win over Sligo Rovers - who sit bottom of the table.

Waterford have the joint worst away record of any side in the Irish top flight, winning just two of their 12 games on the road. 

These games have produced 50 goals (4.16 per game) and Waterford have also conceded more goals than any other side on the road this term (32).
