AFC Fylde v Kettering Town (National League North)
🏟
Saturday 30th April – 3:00PM KO
I’m backing James Rowe and AFC Fylde again this weekend as they take on Kettering Town, a game which has big implications for both sides.
Victory for AFC Fylde would secure their place in the top three, an impressive achievement given they were behind Kidderminster Harriers in the table when James Rowe took the reins at AFC Fylde. However, they have won eight, drawn two and lost one since his arrival. They have won five and drawn one of his six home matches, continuing their excellent form across the season (13 wins, two draws and four losses), scoring two or more in five of those games.
Kettering Town currently sit in ninth position, two points behind seventh place Boston United and will know defeat on Saturday could all but end their hopes of a top seven finish, depending on results elsewhere. The Poppies come into this game having won just one of their last five and failed to score more than one goal in a game during that run. They have also won just one of their last six away matches and have averaged 0.89xG in their last four. Their away record against top half sides reads one win, two draws and six defeats, conceding two or more goals in five matches.

Gateshead v Southport (National League North)
🏟
Saturday 30th April – 3:00PM KO
Gateshead could move one step closer to winning the National League North title on Saturday afternoon when they take on a Southport side that will know a top seven finish is technically possible mathematically but extremely unlikely.
Mike Williamson’s side come into this game with the strongest home record in the division having won 16, drawn one and lost two of their 19 home matches. Goals have been key to that. In all 16 victories, they have scored two or more goals. Against sides 6th or lower in the league table, they have won 14 and drawn one, that being a recent 0-0 draw with Bradford Park Avenue during which they recorded an xG of 3.19. Gateshead have scored two or more goals in 27 of their 39 league matches this season. They have scored 15 goals in their last four matches and 16 in their last five home matches. Southport, meanwhile, have seen their form nosedive. They come into this game winless in 11 and they have won just two of their last 18 league matches. They have also now lost over half of their league matches away from home this season, including four of their last five, conceding two or more in four of those matches. Liam Watson’s side have also conceded two or more goals in seven of nine matches against sides in the top ten away from home. The Merseyside outfit have now slipped to 12th in the league table, five points and five places off a play-off place with three games to go.

AFC Telford United v Boston United (National League North)
🏟
Saturday 30th April – 3:00PM KO
Another game with big implications as AFC Telford United host Boston United.
For the hosts, they need a result to steer clear of the sole relegation spot having seen Guiseley close the gap to two points. The Bucks come into the game having lost each of their last two, both away from home against local rivals Hereford and high-flying Chorley. However, they were unbeaten in six before that and had scored in 11 of their 12 matches prior to that game. They have scored in 74% of their home matches, including each of their last five. They have also conceded in four of those matches and six of their last seven at home.
Boston United have given themselves a great opportunity to finish in the top seven, currently sitting in the final play-off position with away games at lowly Telford and Farsley Celtic falling either side of a home fixture with a Gloucester City side with nothing but pride to play for. The Pilgrims have scored in all 19 matches played since Paul Cox took the reins as manager and have conceded in 13, meaning both sides have scored in over two-thirds of their league matches. Both sides have scored in five of their last nine away matches.
The visitors have an uncanny knack of finding the back of the net in matches while the hosts need to score if they are going to survive. I’m backing both sides to score.

Maidstone United v Chelmsford City (National League South)
🏟
Saturday 30th April – 3:00PM KO
I’m backing Maidstone United to continue their incredible form on Saturday and move to within one victory of the league title this weekend.
The Stones have surged towards the top of National League South after a run of 20 wins from 24 matches, including wins in each of their last seven and all of their last 12 home matches. Hakan Hayrettin’s side have scored two or more goals in ten of those 12 home matches and in seven of the nine matches played at home against sides in the bottom half, winning eight. They have also won nine and drawn one of ten matches against sides in the bottom six, which is where Chelmsford City find themselves.
Chelmsford have mathematically secured their safety after a run of five without defeat. It means they come into this game with nothing but pride and position to play for. They come into this game unbeaten in their last two away from home but having lost each of the previous four. They have lost four of five away matches against the top seven this season, conceding two goals in each defeat. They have not recorded a single victory against a side in the top seven this season, losing eight of 12 matches and scoring more than one goal once.

St.Albans City v Dorking Wanderers (National League South)
🏟
Saturday 30th April – 3:00PM KO
It’s likely a case of too little too late in Dorking Wanderers’ National League South title challenge but they appear to be giving it everything they’ve got and are unlikely to slow down until it’s no longer mathematically possible.
Marc White’s side have won each of their last four matches, scoring 19 goals in the process. That followed on from excellent performances against Hampton and Richmond Borough and Ebbsfleet United during which they were unfortunate not to come away with more than a point. They have scored two or more goals in eight of their last nine matches and two or more in eight of 11 away matches against sides in 15th or higher. Dorking have averaged 2.8 goals scored in their last ten away matches, scoring two or more in nine.
It all means that if St.Albans are going to record a result here, they probably need to find their goalscoring boots. Easier said than done for a side that have scored two or more goals in just four of their last 21 matches. The Saints come into this game having lost eight of their last 11 matches, including their last three home matches, during which they haven’t scored. Their record against the better sides in the division isn’t much better, picking up one point from 21 available against the top four. They have conceded three or more goals in five of those matches.

Prediction: Dorking to Win, 1.57 on Betfair (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
