Keito Nakamura finished the 25/26 season with an average of 0.89 fouls per 90, which is nothing to write home about, but he has committed three fouls in three games at the World Cup so far, including two against the Netherlands. 

Nakamura plays as more of a left wingback for Japan, taking on a larger defensive responsibility, and he should have plenty of work to get through against Brazil here. 

It’s a tough knockout draw for Japan, and Nakamura should find duels against Rayan out on the flank. After making his World Cup debut off the bench against Haiti, Rayan was fouled twice in a 50-minute appearance. He was also fouled against Scotland last time out.
