Saturday's 12/1 Premier League Card Betting Tips

Fixtures for: Saturday 13th September

Arsenal v Nottingham Forest

Elliot Anderson to be Shown a Card

Elliot Anderson has avoided a booking up until this point of the Premier League season but has a higher chance of receiving a caution here in Forest’s biggest challenge of the season so far.

Anderson received 10 yellow cards across his 33 Premier League appearances last season - no Forest player picked up more yellow cards than Anderson in the Premier League last season. He averaged 1.61 fouls committed per 90 across these fixtures which is a solid record to further suggest that he has a decent chance of picking up a booking here.

Anderson is likely to line up against a talented Arsenal midfield trio of Odegaard, Zubimendi and Rice who can all test the now England international. Anderson is also likely to have a few run ins with Eberechi Eze who should make his first start for Arsenal here.

Anderson contested 19 duels and committed two fouls in the 0-0 draw these sides contested at the City Ground last season.

Yehor Yarmoliuk to be Shown a Card

Yehor Yarmoliuk sits at the heart of Brentford’s midfield. He’s yet to be cautioned this season but has committed five fouls across his three Premier League appearances so far, playing at least 79 minutes in each of these games.

I think Chelsea have the best midfield options in the Premier League, and the duo of Fernandez and Caicedo are also incredibly strong when it comes to winning fouls:

Fernandez - 1.65 fouls won p/90 (24/25 PL)
Caicedo - 1.56 fouls won p/90 (24/25 PL)

Yarmoliuk should contest plenty of duels against this pair. Brentford averaged fewer fouls committed per game than any other side last season (8.70 per game) but the early signs this season are that this record will be much higher this term.

Yarmoliuk picked up six cards across his just 15 starts in the Premier League last season.
