Jurgen Locadia didn’t register a shot in Curacao’s opening match against Germany, but this selection did still land as his replacement, Jearl Margaritha, got an effort off. This upcoming matchup against Ivory Coast also looks a bit easier on paper.

Curacao have been able to pose a threat going forward in both World Cup matches so far, and Locadia accounted for one of his side’s ten shots against Ecuador last time out. That was despite Curacao having just 25% possession and spending most of the game camped in their own defensive third.

Locadia had an average of 2.47 shots per 90 at a domestic level this season, playing for Miami FC in the USL Championship. Even though Curacao are massive underdog, this price for a striker to record a shot looks way too big.
