FC Den Bosch v Jong PSV Eindhoven
🏟
Monday 14th March – 7:00PM KO
FC Den Bosch have finally booked a good result beating MVV Maastricht 3-1 at home, mostly thanks to Soufyan Ahannach who scored two goals. He now has 25 apps, 5 goals. This has pushed FC Den Bosch into 13th position in the Eerste Divisie and ends a terrible streak of 12 games without winning and 4 games without scoring. FC Den Bosch played well, didn’t allow much towards MVV’s chances and I believe they will play a similar style and have a similar chance against Jong PSV.
Jong PSV sit in a reasonable eleventh position. They have however now lost four straight, winning 10 but losing 13 in total of their 28 games played. Their most recent loss was a 3-1 home loss to FC Emmen. Jong PSV’s away record is not very good. They have lost two straight and 7 of 13 games played in total. They were supposed to face off against ADO Den Haag on Friday, but the match got postponed after the lights went off for the second time. Jong PSV were leading 1-0 thanks to Johan Bakayoko.
Teun van Grunsven (25 apps) returns from a suspension for FC Den Bosch. Jorn van Hedel is injured, but just the one absentee shouldn’t pose too much of a problem. Jong PSV can possibly play their strongest side, but both Fodé Fofana and Johan Bakayoko (12 goals, 9 assists) are doubtful as they may be with the first team. Emmanuel van de Blaak and Damian Timan are also doubtful, but they are not a certainty in the first squad

FC Eindhoven v ADO Den Haag
🏟
Monday 14th March – 7:00PM KO
It’s in-form FC Eindhoven against ADO Den Haag who have had an excellent season but have been slipping a bit. FC Eindhoven are surprising friend and foe and are now ranked fourth. They have won 8 in a row and haven’t lost any of their last 11 league games played. One more win and they will have improved their all-time historical record of wins in a row. They managed to beat VVV 4-0 and just look on a roll. I don’t expect ADO Den Haag to end this, or at best perhaps salvage a draw.
ADO Den Haag have lost two straight, and are now seventh, although they would have been fifth if they weren’t given a 6point deduction. They were supposed to host Jong PSV Eindhoven on Friday. The match started well over an hour late because of problems with light and electricity. The match started, ADO fell 1-0 behind and the game was postponed when the lights when off again. So, slightly rested feet for ADO Den Haag, but they are still facing some problems looking at injuries still as well.
Jarno Janssen and Cas Faber are out for FC Eindhoven, but considering their recent streak and the lack of their playing time it’s not that big of an issue. Janssen was a projected starter, but the current back four of Bogaers, Amevor, Peijnenburg and Vermeulen are doing just fine.
ADO Den Haag do face some injury struggles. First goalkeeper Luuk Koopmans is injured. Eljero Elia is out for the season. Dhoraso Klas is doubtful as is Gregor Breinburg. Replacement goalkeeper Alessandro Damen looked a bit sloppy in their 6-3 loss to Jong Ajax.

Roda JC v De Graafschap
🏟
Monday 14th March – 7:00PM KO
Roda JC are on a roll. They have been climbing the league table and now sit in sixth position. Roda managed to beat TOP Oss in their last league game, in a 2-1 away win. Dylan Vente is the man in form, he scored his 17th goal in 29 appearances. He is backed by a very creative midfield in mainly Patrick Pflücke, but also Xian Emmers and Bryan Limbombe. Roda have won two straight. They have been doing well, winning 7, drawing 6 and losing just 1 of their last 14 league games.
De Graafschap seem to be losing their grip. They are eighth, and have been failing to book wins and finding the net. They succumbed to NAC Breda in a 2-0 away loss, which in itself is not a disastrous result as NAC Breda are a good side, but the problem for De Graafschap is that they are struggling to score. It was their first loss since seven games without a loss, but they have failed to score for three games in a row and have failed to score in 5 of their last 8. Their goal difference is six scored and four allowed in the past eight games.
Niek Vossebelt is out for Roda, but he can be replaced. Robert Klaasen will play and Davy van den Berg could still come in from the bench as can Tomer Altman.
De Graafschap will miss Cape Verdian international Jeffry Fortes, who collected his fifth yellow card in the previous match (23 apps, 1 goal). I expect Rick Dekker to replace him, which is not a big concern comparing him to Fortes.

Prediction: Roda JC to Win, 2.30 on Betfair (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
Telstar v NAC Breda
🏟
Monday 14th March – 7:00PM KO
Telstar face off against a decent playing NAC Breda. I can see both clubs score at least a goal. Telstar are currently sixteenth and lead the league in draws -11. 9 of these draws were scored draws. Telstar’s most recent result was a 3-2 loss to Jong AZ, with the scoring duo upfront bagging a goal each. Rein Smit now has 7. Glynor Plet has 8 goals to his total. This marked three games in a row where Telstar scored at least two goals, and four games in a row where they have allowed at least two goals.
Telstar are missing a few players in defence. Anthony Berenstein and Vincent Regeling are out. Delvechio Blackson as well as midfielder Niels van Wetten is doubtful. They’ll still employ a 5-3-2 formation, with backups Roman Tugarinov (10 apps) and Jip Molenaar (17 apps) fulfilling the roles.
NAC Breda had a few struggles against De Graafschap, because of some Covid-19 cases, but still managed to beat them 2-0. Ralf Seuntjens scored his twelfth goal of the season. He is doubtful as he is said to be involved in a transfer to Japan. Wout Neelen and Giovanni Siereveld stepped in, in defence. Naoufal Bannis is questionable upfront. Danny Bakker (23 apps) and Moreno Rutten (13 apps) are the main doubtful players who have Covid-19. Youngster Boris van Schuppen is also doubtful. I expect NAC to field a decent line-up still, but this could hurt them slightly in their winning efforts. They have won 5 in a row, and haven’t lost their last six league games played.
