Moses Itauma to Win in Rounds 1-3

I think we really are looking at the future of heavyweight boxing in Moses Itauma.

Still only 21, the Slovakian-born British heavyweight has looked unstoppable in nearly every outing he has had.

With a record of 14-0 (12 KOs), I believe the current WBA International and WBO Inter-Continental heavyweight champion will dispatch of the experienced Filip Hrgovic with ease on Saturday night.

Hrgovic is certainly no slouch. The Olympic bronze medalist is 21-1 (15 KOs) whose only loss being to Daniel Dubois back in June 2024.

I just think this really will be Itauma's coming-out party.

The first-round KO of Dillian Whyte in August of last year certainly put him on the map, as did his fifth-round stoppage of Jermaine Franklin in March, but this feels like the moment he'll solidify himself as a true contender.

Itauma is as short as 1/9 on some bookmakers just to win, which isn't a shock given this selection has landed in nine of his last ten fights.

His southpaw stance will make it a nightmare for the orthodox Hrgovic, and given that age and explosivity are on the side of Itauma, I think he gets him out of there within three rounds.
