Dave Chisnall v Dimitri van den Bergh Expert Tips & Predictions
Dave Chisnall strolled past an out-of-sorts Cameron Menzies in Round 1, winning both sets 3-0. Dimitri van den Bergh, meanwhile, had a tougher time of it, having to come from a set down to beat Luke Woodhouse, but won both of the final two sets 3-1, booking his place in the next round comfortably enough.
These two have faced off 14 times in their careers, with Chisnall holding the edge over van den Bergh, notching nine wins to Dimi’s five.

Dave Chisnall v Dimitri van den Bergh Best Bets
🎯 Over 3.5 Dimitri van den Bergh 180s
Dimitri Van den Bergh is a steady operator when it comes to hitting 180s and he looks worth backing to land at least four in his second round clash with Dave Chisnall. The Belgian number one pinned no fewer than five maximums in his round one win over Luke Woodhouse.
The ‘Dream Maker’ has always been pretty handy when it comes to scoring 180s, with his 2024 tally sitting at a very respectable 257. What’s more, he racked up a combined total of 22 maximums at this year’s World Matchplay, two of which led to a sensational nine-dart finish. With the likelihood of four or maybe even five sets being needed to settle this clash, a minimum of four maximums from Van den Bergh merits support at 1.73.
🎯 Dimitri van den Bergh to have 1+ 40+ Checkout in Each Set
Look to Dimitri Van den Bergh to deliver at least one 40+ checkout in each set against Dave Chisnall at 1.91. The ‘Dream Maker’ delivered multiple big finishes in his round one win over Luke Woodhouse.
Van den Bergh had the Mattioli Arena on their feet with a brilliant 132 finish on the bull. He also chipped in with a 110 checkout for good measure. On top of this, the Belgian number one kept his cool to hit a nerve-shredding 59 to take the game to a deciding set.
He does have a habit of leaving those kinds of two dart combos, with both 56 and 52 two of his other go to set up shots. With that in mind, backing Van den Bergh to checkout north of 40 once more in each set seems like a sensible option at 1.91.
