Saturday’s European Football Accumulator Tips
Osasuna v Villarreal
Osasuna will welcome Villarreal to the Estadio de la Ceramica on Saturday afternoon.
Only three LaLiga sides have developed a worse home record than Osasuna this season, with Jagoba Arrasate’s side failing to win 12 of their 18 home matches. The hosts’ difficulties in home territory have been evident in recent home matches, with Osasuna picking up just one point from their last four home games. Arrasate will be concerned with his side’s displays at both ends along this run, with his men conceding an average of 2 goals per game while scoring an average of just 0.75.
Villarreal rank fifth in LaLiga in terms of away form this season and have excelled on their travels in 2024. The visitors have lost just once across their last eight away league matches, despite facing five of LaLiga’s top seven along this run, winning four and drawing one of these five fixtures.
With this bet winning in all of Osasuna’s last four home matches and in all but one of Villareal’s last eight away league matches, we expect the visitors to pick up at least a point here.
Real Sociedad v Atletico Madrid
Two sides who have played out underwhelming seasons go head to head on the final in San Sebastian as Real Sociedad welcome Atletico Madrid to the Reale Arena.
For Sociedad, it is a sixth-place finish that is two places lower than last season, but even more disappointing is that it means they finish below Basque rivals Bilbao. Atleti meanwhile are set for their lowest La Liga finish in 12 years since they came fifth in the 2011/12 season.
Both of these two sides have been fairly prolific in front of goal of late, with hosts Sociedad netting in three out of their last five league games whilst the side from the capital Atleti have netted in each of their last five games.
Form-wise, the away side are on the better out of the two, recording four wins and one loss in their last five with the hosts picking up three wins and two losses. The recent five meetings between these sides have been fairly even and have seen 11 goals scored for an average of 2.2 goals per game. From a betting perspective, backing Both Teams to Score could be a wise bet and on Betfair, it currently sits at odds of 1.67.
Juventus v Monza
The Allianz Stadium will play host to a clash between Juventus and Monza on Saturday evening.
With one game remaining, Juventus remain in contention to be the side that completes Serie A’s top three. Following the departure of Massimiliano Allegri, Juventus legend Paolo Montero has been appointed as caretaker manager. Montero’s first game in charge ended positively, with his men overturning a three-goal deficit to draw 3-3 with Bologna, who currently occupy third place.
Monza have experienced a huge dip in form in recent weeks, with Raffaele Pallardino’s side losing five and drawing three of their last eight matches. The visitors have struggled greatly when visiting stronger opposition this season, losing four and drawing one of their five away league matches against sides in Serie A’s top six. Monza have struggled both offensively and defensively across these outings, conceding an average of 1.8 goals per game while failing to score a single goal.
Juventus won 2-1 when the two sides met in December, and Monza appear to have worsened since then. Thus, we expect Juventus to leave with all three points here.
Real Madrid v Real Betis
Real Madrid will look to close their domestic campaign in style as they welcome Betis to the Bernabeu.
It has been a season of utter domination from Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid side in La Liga as they have blown away the competition to be crowned champions for a record-extending 36th time.
Los Blancos have suffered just one defeat in the league all season, an away loss to city rivals Atletico back in September, and have since gone unbeaten.
Betis will have little to play for having already secured seventh place and a space in the Conference League play-offs for next season. Real boast the best home form in the league across the last six games, with the table toppers picking up 18 points from 18. In that time, they have seen 20 goals scored for an average of 3.33 goals per game.
Betis themselves are on mixed away form, recording seven from a possible 18 as well as seeing 19 goals scored for an average of 3.16 goals per game. That being said, a double chance bet of Real to win and over 1.5 goals in the game could end up being sensible and on Betfair, it currently sits at odds of 1.40.
