Daichi Kamada is enjoying a spell in Crystal Palace’s starting line-up and is attracting plenty of attention from opposing players, being caught late seven times in his last three starts. The Japan midfielder looks to carry the ball into the final third and is often cynically pulled back to prevent counters, emphasised well by his average of 1.38 fouls drawn per 90 for the season.

Kamada landed this bet in the reverse fixture and faces a Brentford side who commit 10.44 infringements per game. Up against him in the middle of the park looks likely to be Mathias Jensen and Yehor Yarmoliuk, who, between them, average 1.95 fouls per 90, and so he should have plenty of opportunities to win a cheap foul.

Crystal Palace have been an entertaining side to watch in recent weeks, and BTTS has landed in four of their last six matches across all competitions. The Eagles have played with a bit more attacking freedom, particularly in the league, as they have little to play for in terms of gaining positions, and their full focus seems to be on the Conference League final. Palace drew 2-2 with Everton last weekend, and there could have easily been several more goals. Both goalkeepers were exceptional - Dean Henderson accumulated five saves, with Jordan Pickford pulling off six. 

Palace won the reverse fixture 2-0 at Selhurst Park, but Brentford should be much more competitive on home turf, and this selection landed when the sides last met at the Gtech Community Stadium, as that game finished 2-1 to the hosts. Keith Andrews' men will push for the three points here with a European finish still on the line.

After being shown no cards against Everton last time out, or in the second leg of the Conference League against Shakhtar before that, Palace were awarded two yellows against City last time out. The Eagles have seen a notable increase in cards when playing away this season, and they have landed this selection in 13 of their last 14 away games, which is an impressive hit rate, and the one miss in that stretch came against Zrinjski in the Conference League. Brentford is a much tougher matchup here, so Palace should have a lot more defensive work to do.

The Bees have forced at least two cards from their opponents in 13 of their last 14 matches across all competitions. Brentford play at a high tempo, which can often push opponents into making rash challenges, and they will have to be front-footed at home here. 

Igor Thiago has been the centre of attention for his goals this season, and he is keeping the pressure on Erling Haaland in the Golden Boot race, but the Brazilian also tops the charts for total fouls committed out of all Premier League players this campaign. He racked up five infringements against Man City last time out, taking his average to 1.96 fouls per 90 across all competitions. 

Igor Thiago recorded three infringements in the reverse fixture against Palace, and this matchup looks set to produce more of the same. He is a very physical player, who often looks to drop back to try and win the ball back. Thiago is also the target when Brentford look to play long, so he is usually heavily involved in the game when it comes to contesting duels against opposing centre backs.

Dango Ouattara had just the one shot in the reverse fixture at Selhurst Park, as Brentford had an off night - they managed just six shots as a team in that 2-0 defeat. However, the circumstances are very different here with Brentford being at home, and Palace haven't got much to play for in the league. Because of that, the Bees should have more success going forward.

Ouattara has seen a notable increase in shots when playing at the Gtech, and he has recorded a shot on target in each of his last four home games. That includes three shots with one on target against West Ham last time out, and three shots which all found the target against Fulham before that. He excels at getting into promising scoring positions, and Ouattara tends to be accurate when chances fall to his feet, which makes him a target here.

Despite their 3-0 defeat against Man City last time out, Brentford are still in contention for a European finish, and they should be front-footed from the outset here against a Crystal Palace side who are expected to rotate with the Conference League final in their sights. The last meeting between the sides at the Gtech Community Stadium finished 2-1 to the hosts, meaning three of the last four head-to-head encounters have produced at least three goals.

In fact, 13 of his league goals this season have been scored in front of a home crowd. 

Crystal Palace are an excellent matchup to back the Brazilian again, as the Eagles have little to play for in the league. They have conceded 11 goals in their last four matches alone, and they suffered a 3-0 defeat against Man City last time out.
