It has been a dreadful start to the season for Philadelphia Union, and they are still yet to get off the mark with their first point after five MLS games. It has been a complete contrast to last season, when they won the Supporters' Shield after topping the Eastern Conference, but surely this horrible run of form can’t persist for much longer. Philadelphia have shown some signs of improving in recent weeks, and have at last managed to get on the scoresheet in their last two games.
Charlotte have started on a much more positive note, and their 6-1 victory against New York Red Bulls last time out will fill them with confidence coming into this clash. Charlotte have plenty of firepower in forward areas, led by Wilfried Zaha, but they have only kept one clean sheet this season, which makes BTTS a market to target here.
