Galatasaray have only lost one game at home over the last year
Inter have started the season really well, winning five of their opening six matches in Serie A - scoring 18 goals in the process.
Only Roma, who sit just behind them in the table, have managed to take points off them domestically this season in the form of a 2-2 draw a few weeks back - Inter won the xG battle in that game too (2.86-1.66).
Inter did lose their opening game of their Champions League campaign, but you can’t get much tougher assignments in the Champions League than a trip to the Bernabeu, making this game look much more winnable on paper.
Club Brugge have also started the season well domestically but tend to struggle at this level, as shown by their 3-2 defeat at home on Matchday 1 to Aston Villa.
That game saw them concede an xG of 3.22 despite having 64% of the ball - showing how they aren’t at the level of get anything from this clash with Inter looking really strong so far this season.
Arsenal look a lot stronger than Lille on paper here, and it is likely to be one-way traffic. The Gunners accrued eight corners in their opening Premier League match against Coventry, before also landing this selection against Chelsea. Last season, they had an average of 5.75 corners per game across all competitions, rising to 6.0 when playing at the Emirates.
Set pieces remain a significant part of Arsenal’s attacking approach, so they typically look to utilise width when their opponents sit deep. The hosts should dominate proceedings, forcing Lille into extended spells of defending their box. That should bring corners into the game.
Galatasaray have lost just one of their home games over the last year and should be able to offer a decent attacking threat to a Barcelona side who are scoring for fun themselves at the moment.
Barcelona have won each of their last five matches ahead of this clash, but have only managed to keep a clean sheet in one of these games. They conceded two goals in their opening game of the Champions League campaign, scoring seven in response as they beat Feyenoord comfortably.
Galatasaray have seen BTTS in three of their last five matches, and this angle is mainly backing them to score as Barcelona are as short as 1.11 to find the back of the net here. Barcelona don’t care too much about conceding shots and chances, giving Galatasaray the perfect scenario where they can get on the scoresheet.
It’s hard to make a case for either of these backlines at the moment, United conceded to 10 man Tottenham over the weekend to mark another game where they’ve failed to keep a clean sheet - only Sabah have failed to score against United so far this season.
Atletico Madrid have found clean sheets quite difficult to come by too, keeping just three shutouts this term - with two of those coming against sides that sit in the bottom five of LaLiga following the opening set of matches.
They’ve seen BTTS in each of their last two matches ahead of this game, and also saw BTTS in their opening game of the Champions League campaign as they fell to a 2-1 defeat to Liverpool.
Simeone is not quite the same defensively minded manager he is usually pinned as, he’s been willing to be more expansive over recent seasons which partly explains Atletico Madrid’s early record.
