Iwata has got an absolute screamer in his locker. The beauty of the shots market is that if he does go for the spectacular, it could fly into row z for all we care.

Iwata had 51 shots for The Blues last season, an average of 1.20 per 90 minutes and has already landed this selection in each of his two matches so far this campaign.

Wrexham have conceded in both their matches so far and shipped 19 shots in the process.

Interestingly, in the match against Cardiff, their two centre midfielders racked up four shots between them and their defensive midfielder also had one.

This is an excellent price for a defender who’s already managed six shots in The Championship this season.

He’s even managed three on target already. A singular shot on target is priced at 3.75 in this one.

The key to this has been Wrexham’s monstrous corner count, which allows Doyle to get himself forward to attack the set pieces.

They had 10 corners against Watford and nine against Cardiff. Their three at-the-back system focuses a lot of play in wide areas as they look to find Kieffer Moore, this often leads to deflected crosses going out for a corner or players tackled close to the byline for the same result.

In this Hollywood showdown, I’m expecting an exciting fixture and goals should follow suit between two sides who aren’t short on attacking talent.

I was tempted by BTTS but I’m playing a little safer. Both Wrexham games so far this season have finished 1-1.

Birmingham have drawn 0-0 and 2-2, before then being thumped 6-1 at home by Brentford in the Carabao Cup in midweek.

83% of Wrexham’s league games saw two or more goals last season with an average of 2.91 goals per match.

As for Birmingham, their games averaged 2.46 goals with 78% seeing two or more scored.

As mentioned, Wrexham have boasted huge corner numbers so far this season, hitting nine or more in both league matches and three away at Wrexham in the Carabao Cup first round when they were beaten 1-0.

They also have shipped plenty - three against Watford, nine against Cardiff and seven against ‘Boro.

Birmingham matches have averaged 10 corners, which has been the count in both of their Championship matches. They took seven against Bristol City and eight against Sheffield United.

I expect both sides to have good periods in this match and corners should flow for both - the price on both to get over 3.5 is also very tempting as a small play on the side.

This fixture last season saw BTTS as the sides played out a 1-1 draw, with both registering an xG in excess of 1.0 (1.58-1.46).

Wrexham have seen BTTS in both of their league games so far this season, with both matches against Cardiff and Watford ending in a 1-1 draw.

Birmingham have seen BTTS in each of their last two matches ahead of this fixture, being held by Bristol City to a 2-2 draw before suffering a bruising 6-1 defeat to Brentford in the EFL Cup.

Bayern Munich are so dominant in this fixture having won each of the last nine head to head meetings between the sides, stretching all the way back to 2023.

They’ve also won each of the last four clashes between the teams at the Allianz Arena, suggesting that this is often an uphill battle for Stuttgart. 

Bayern have won each of their last six matches ahead of this game, including a win over Dortmund in the Super Cup where they were typically dominant, registering an xG of 2.37 from 21 shots.

Bayern only lost one of their 17 home games in the Bundesliga last season, winning 14 of these matches and netting 68 goals in the process - more than any other side at home in the Bundesliga.
