Aberdeen hold plenty of appeal in the double chance market. The Dons are currently enjoying a five-game unbeaten run across all competitions, not to mention they have avoided defeat in each of their previous three home games with Rangers, triumphing when the pair last crossed paths at Pittodrie this season. Rangers have struggled on their travels this term, winning just eight of their 16 Scottish Premiership games away from home thus far.
👕 Aberdeen v Rangers Predicted XI

🔍 Aberdeen v Rangers Players to Watch
🔴 Kevin Nisbet
Kevin Nisbet has been in excellent goalscoring form of late, netting in each of Aberdeen’s last three home games, bagging a brace in two of those matches. Nisbet’s tireless work ethic will make him a real menace for Rangers’ backline to deal with. The Dons attacker also likes to throw his weight around, evidenced by the fact that he has been booked in four of his last 19 Scottish Premiership appearances, including last time out.
🔵 Vaclav Cerny
Vaclav Cerny has been one of the standout players in an otherwise underwhelming domestic season for Rangers. The Czech star has chipped in with an impressive return of 17 goals and seven assists across his 46 appearances in all competitions this season so far. It’s worth noting that each of Cerny’s last four goals for Rangers have been scored away from home, including two against Fenerbahce in the Europa League.

💻 Aberdeen v Rangers Form and Tactics
After enduring a wretched run of form between the end of November and early February, Aberdeen seemed to have turned a corner of late. Jimmy Thelin’s team extended their unbeaten run to five matches with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Ross County last weekend. The Dons scored with one of their four on-target efforts in Dingwall last Saturday.
Aberdeen have been among the most ill-disciplined sides in the Scottish Premiership this season, racking up 76 yellow cards across their 32 top-flight tussles to date. The Dons were shown five yellow cards when they hosted Rangers earlier this season before collecting three bookings at Ibrox in January.
Aberdeen have looked suspect defensively throughout the Scottish Premiership season, with the Pittodrie outfit posting just seven clean sheets across their 32 assignments thus far. The Dons’ defence has been breached four times across their previous two meetings with Rangers this term.
Rangers have endured an inconsistent and at times, erratic campaign, particularly on the domestic scene. The Scottish giants suffered a fifth successive home defeat when being turned over 2-0 by Hibernian at Ibrox last Saturday. Barry Ferguson’s side enjoyed 72% possession, but they lacked the quality and clinical edge to make the most of the chances presented to them.
However, ten-man Rangers did break their five-game losing streak at Ibrox with a brilliant backs-to-the-wall performance to earn a 0-0 draw against Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League on Thursday.
Rangers are averaging 6.85 corners per game in the Scottish Premiership this season - a return bettered only by Celtic. The Light Blues won the corner battle in each of their previous two meetings with Aberdeen this season.
Rangers have been shipping goals at an alarming rate in recent weeks, conceding multiple strikes in each of their last six league games.
