Lautaro Martinez has been Inter Milan's Champions League talisman this season, bagging nine goals in 14 appearances to fire his team to the final. The Argentine striker brings efficiency to Inter's attack, averaging 2.70 shots per game with a 78% accuracy rate (2.11 on target per 90) - making him one of Europe's most lethal finishers.  

Martinez has scored in three of his last four UCL matches, including strikes against Bayern Munich and Barcelona in the knockout stages. He also averages 1.19 shots on target per 90 in Serie A.  

Martinez has taken 2+ shots on target in four of his nine starts in the Champions League this season and has only failed to find the target in three of his 13 Champions League appearances this campaign. 

Final to be decided on Penalties:

This has the look of a final that could very well go the distance. Both sides come into this game unbeaten across their last four fixtures which would indicate that we could be in for a tight affair on Saturday night.

Inter have avoided defeat in each of their last eight Champions League matches, managing to win six of these games. They’ve only trailed in the Champions League for 16 minutes this season, bouncing back quickly after conceding goals against Bayern Munich and Barcelona.

PSG are looking to secure their first ever Champions League triumph, while Inter will be hoping that this competition can make amends for their domestic shortcomings and also reconcile the wound from the 2023 final defeat against Man City.

Inter were forced into extra-time against Barcelona in the semi-final and PSG have also been forced over 90 minutes in the competition, having to come through a penalty shootout to knockout Liverpool in the round of 16. It wouldn't be a surprise if this clash is decided on spot kicks.
