Tuesday's Champions League Qualifying Boosted Accumulator
4 Selections @ 4.76

Malmo v FC Iberia

UEFA Champions League Qualifying

18:00

Malmo to Win

Malmö ran out convincing 3-1 winners in the first leg of this Champions League playoff tie, they were pretty comfortable in the game in managing more shots (11-7) and shots on target (7-4) than their opponents, despite being the away side.

They can look to extend their aggregate lead here in front of a home crowd that has seen Malmö lose just one of their eight games at home in the Allsvenskan this season. They’ve managed to win five of these games domestically, which indicates that they’ll have a solid chance of navigating this Champions League qualifier without too many problems.

Malmö competed in the Europa League last season and have featured in Champions League qualification in three of the last four seasons so they have experience at this level. In contrast, Iberia have never featured at any level in European competition before and have only been at this stage once before in their history, back in the 2019/2020 season.

Rigas v FC Levadia Tallin

UEFA Champions League Qualifying

18:00

Rigas to Win

Rigas have a slender lead which they’ll look to fully force home when they take on Levadia on Tuesday evening. Rigas put in a classic away performance to take all three points in the first leg, scoring their goal from the penalty spot and managing to keep Levadia at arm's length despite only having 44% of the ball.

It will be difficult now for Levadia to try and get back into this tie when considering Rigas’ imperious home record in the Virsliga this season. Rigas have won 10 of their 11 home games in the Latvian top flight this season, scoring 26 goals across these fixtures and conceding only five.

Rigas’ presence on the European stage has been growing in recent years. They competed in the Conference League in the 22/23 season and managed to step up to the Europa League in the most recent campaign. Their domestic dominance suggests that they can continue to be a positive force for Latvian football on the European stage.

Inter Club v FCSB

UEFA Champions League Qualifying

19:30

FCSB to Win

FCSB were clearly the better side in their 3-1 win over Inter Club in the first leg of this Champions League qualifier. Inter Club were only allowed to have three shots in the first leg which suggests that FCSB are a level above the Andorran side, who have never featured at any level in European competition.

FCSB have just started their domestic season, so they should come into this game with plenty of fitness and energy from their pre season preparations. Their away record in Liga I last season was really strong, losing just two of their 20 matches across the campaign. FCSB will be eager to claim a place at Europe’s top table, having competed in the Europa League last season and making a decent impact in that competition, reaching the round of 16.

Their greater experience at this level should see them over the line with their two-goal advantage set to be extended here as Inter Club will be forced to throw caution to the wind to try and find a way to get back into this tie.

Breidablik v FK Egnatia

UEFA Champions League Qualifying

20:00

Breidablik to Win

Breidablik fell to a surprise 1-0 defeat against FK Egnatia in the first leg of this Champions League qualifier, leaving them with a bit of work to do if the Icelandic side want to compete in the Champions League next season for the first time in their history.

Breidablik competed in the Conference League last season, which was their first campaign featuring in any European competition. They competed in the Champions League qualifiers during the 23/24 campaign. Breidablik are currently midway through their season and have only lost one of their seven home games this campaign, so this will be a challenge for the Albanian side, Egnatia, even with their slender lead.

Egnatia were the better team in the first leg but may rue being unable to make more of their general dominance in the game. Their five shots on target only returned one goal, which came in the 92nd minute, if Breidablik can find an early equaliser here then it could quickly unravel for Engatia.
