Reece James has been trusted as Tuchel’s main right back for the tournament and he’s pretty generously priced to get a shot away in this opener. 

James enjoyed a pretty strong personal season for Chelsea, registering six goal contributions across his 20 starts from right back. He took 22 shots across these games (1.01 per 90) and should get forward often enough to have a shot here.

James scored a brilliant free kick for England during qualifying against Latvia, with this being a possible avenue for James to get an effort away. James is pretty familiar with what Tuchel wants from his fullbacks having played under him at Chelsea, so he should have licence to push forward - possibly also occupying central areas at times.

James also took nine shots across his seven starts in the Champions League during the 25/26 campaign (1.44 per 90), with all but one of these efforts coming from outside the box. Most sides will sit quite deep against England, so there should be room for players like James -  who like shooting from distance - to get efforts away when the opposition look to stay deep and compact. 

There’s decent value here, James is as short as 1.3 with some bookmakers to have a shot in this clash. I really like the 1.83 price we’re getting.
