It wasn’t much of a contest against the Parisians, who won 4-0 on aggregate across the two legs. That means the primary focus for Liverpool now is the league, and they come into this clash following back-to-back wins, which hasn’t happened too often this campaign. They have struggled to string together a consistent run of positive results, but will hope to extend their winning run this weekend.

Crystal Palace have also been in a decent patch of form, and have lost just one of their last eight matches across all competitions. The one defeat was a 2-1 loss against Fiorentina in the Conference League, but that was enough to see the Eagles through to the semi-finals, after they won the first leg 3-0 at home.

Maxence Lacroix shook off any injury concerns from the Conference League to feature against West Ham last time out, so it should be a familiar back three for the Eagles.

Liverpool were dealt a significant injury blow as Hugo Ekitike has suffered a serious ankle injury, so Alexander Isak should lead the line.
