On Monday, FC Den Bosch will make the short trip to Eindhoven for this league match and I doubt the players will really be looking forward to that, because Den Bosch are on a five match losing streak. You can’t really say much about the last defeat, in the cup against Ajax, but from the other four defeats, two were against teams from the bottom three of the second division. What is just as bad is that Den Bosch only scored one goal in those five games and confidence is on the floor.

FC Eindhoven’s season is very different. They are usually one of the smaller teams in this league, but like last season, they have a proper chance at promotion this year. They did have a tough pill to swallow this week, when they got knocked out of the cup by NAC Breda after 120 minutes of football, but in the league they are still looking steady. The long match won’t be a problem either, because with five days in between, there has been plenty of time to rest.

Canadian international Charles-Andreas Brym is showing week after week that he is too good for Eindhoven, but the Sparta loanee is still around. Against a weak and mentally battered Den Bosch side, Eindhoven’s current form and superior quality should be enough for the three points.
