Lee Carsley will lead England out at Wembley Stadium for the first time when the Three Lions host a beatable-looking Finland outfit in the Nations League on Tuesday evening.
England opened their account for the campaign with a cosy 2-0 win over the Republic of Ireland in Dublin on Saturday and back on home turf, the star-studded Euro 2024 finalists will expect to be in total command again.

Level 1 Bet Builder Tip
🎯 Anthony Gordon to have 1+ shots on target
📈 Odds: 1.40
Anthony Gordon was handed just his third-ever start for England on Saturday evening and the winger repaid Lee Carsley’s faith with a dynamic performance down the Three Lions’ left flank in Dublin.
Gordon had three attempts against Ireland at the Aviva Stadium, managed to get 100% of his efforts on target and with a little more luck, he would have opened his account for the senior English side.
The 23-year-old was a potent weapon for Carsley at Under-21 level, so expect Gordon to feature and threaten again against Finland under England’s temporary boss. Look for the Newcastle star to lodge at least one attempt on target on Tuesday.
🛑 Matti Peltola to commit 2+ fouls
📈 Odds: 2.0
Matti Peltola is in line to win just his 10th cap for Finland on Saturday but despite his inexperience, the 22-year-old is already shouldering plenty of responsibility in midfield skirmishes for his country.
Peltola, who has been averaging 1.40 fouls per 90 minutes in the MLS for Washington-based D.C United this season, was an aggressive presence for the Finns in their loss to Greece at the weekend.
The tough tackler committed three fouls on that occasion and Peltola’s foul count could be similarly high against an English side that is likely to dominant possession at Wembley Stadium.
🩹 Jack Grealish to be fouled 2+ times
📈 Odds: 1.33
Jack Grealish reminded everyone of his creative talents in Dublin on Saturday when the mercurial attacking midfielder floated about the Aviva Stadium pitch with menace against the Republic of Ireland.
Freed from the tactical shackles that keep him glued to the touchline at club level for Man City, Grealish was back to his marauding best at the weekend and Ireland’s players resorted to fouling the 28-year-old in an attempt to limit his influence.
Grealish was fouled four times by his Irish opponents and that was the second time in three competitive stats for England where he was kicked that many times. Backing the freed inventive attacker to be fouled at least twice again by his Finnish markers could reap dividends here.
🎯 England to have 6+ shots on target
📈 Odds: 1.20
England had to be content with two goals against Ireland on Saturday, though the visitors hit an impressive nine shots on target in Dublin and might have padded the scoreline had they been more clinical.
With Jack Grealish pulling the strings, Anthony Gordon and Bukayo Saka offering pace and incision from the flanks and Harry Kane operating as a world-class focal point, England manufactured good openings at will against Ireland, and that quartet could do similar damage to the Finnish defence on Tuesday.
England had a least six shots on target in three of their last competitive outings on home soil and the Three Lions offer value in the 6+ shots on target range again against a Finland side that conceded three or more goals in four of their last six away assignments.

Level 2 Bet Builder Tip
🥅 Harry Kane to score anytime
📈 Odds: 1.57
England captain Harry Kane had more attempts at goal (four) than any of his teammates against Ireland, though he found the target with just one of those strikes and he will be determined to sharpen up his finishing for the visit of Finland.
Kane will win his 100th cap on Tuesday evening and keen to mark his century of appearances in a grand manner, the 31-year-old will do everything in his power to score his 67th international goal.
The prolific centre-forward’s teammates will be just as eager to see him score on his 100th outing, so expect Kane to be provided with a regular supply of chances against Finland. Kane is usually a man for the big occasion and in these kinds of circumstances, it would be a surprise if he didn’t register.
🎯 Bukayo Saka to have 1+ shots on target
📈 Odds: 1.36
Bukayo Saka has been averaging a sensational 2.46 shots on target per 90 minutes for Arsenal in the Premier League this season and the winger transferred his club form to the international stage in another dynamic display against Ireland.
Saka had three shots at the Irish goal and almost scored a third England goal in Dublin when his solitary shot on target of the evening was parried to safety by Ireland keeper Caoimhín Kelleher in the second half.
The Gunners starlet has more than enough class to get the better of 19-year-old Finnish left-back Tomas Galvez, who picked up just his third cap for his country against Greece at the weekend. Saka can aim at least one shot on target again here.
🛑 Robert Ivanov to commit 1+ fouls
📈 Odds: 1.57
Finnish defender Robert Ivanov has excellent credentials as an option in the 1+ fouls market at Wembley Stadium. Standing at a full 6’6”, Ivanov is as aerially dominant as you’d expect from a player of his considerable stature, however, he tends to struggle on the deck against more nimble attackers.
Ivanov committed one foul in Finland’s loss to Greece at the weekend and that was the eighth time in ten previous competitive appearances for his country that the 29-year-old gave away at least one free kick.
England’s three forwards (Kane, Saka, Gordon) were fouled three times each against Ireland on Saturday and Ivanov might struggle to time his tackles against the same quick English feet on Tuesday. Back the giant centre-half to commit at least one foul again.
🎯 Declan Rice to have 1+ shots on target
📈 Odds: 3.0
Declan Rice operated with more of a forward-thinking remit than usual against Ireland, which suggests a more expansive role might be on the cards for the midfielder under the instruction of Lee Carsley.
Rice finished Saturday’s win over Ireland with a goal and an assist, while he also hit the target with a shot for the third time in four competitive starts for the Three Lions.
With new midfielder partner Kobbie Mainoo offering security beside – and behind him – when required, England fans should get used to the sight of Rice crashing the opponent’s penalty box, and we’re tipping the 25-year-old to get another shot on target against Finland.
