Bohemians welcome Galway on Friday night and will be hoping to put a period of inconsistency behind them to try and close the gap to Shamrock Rovers, who currently lead the way in the Irish top flight, but have played two games more than both Derry and Bohemians (their closest challengers).

An important clash at the bottom of the Irish Premier Division sees Waterford take on Cork with both sides needing the points to avoid a potential drop down to the Irish First Division. Cork find themselves in a tougher position than Waterford heading into this game, they’ve won just two of their 23 games this season, leaving them bottom of the table with just 15 points.

However, they have managed to score 24 goals across these fixtures, which may just be enough to get them on the score sheet here against a Waterford side who conceded seven goals against Derry last time out. The most recent meeting between the sides took place in April with BTTS landing as Cork ran out 2-1 winners. In addition, BTTS has landed in the last three head-to-head meetings between the sides.
