Placing inside the top three in 60% of her races, PARISIAN FASHION has already scored at Newcastle over course and distance, and after a solid third place on handicap debut at Perth, she returns to Newcastle off an unchanged mark. 

Although lightly raced with only five runs to her name spanning back to 2024, Parisian Fashion has shown real promise in her two latest performances and considering she has already won on her sole start at Newcastle, she can’t be overlooked on her return. Finishing third last time out on handicap debut, the mare was arguably travelling best of all coming to two from home, but after a bad blunder, her chances of winning fizzled out, settling for third place.  

A promising effort still on handicap debut given how well she was travelling over the same 2m4f trip, a more fluent jumping display in the latter stages should see her competing in the business end today.

Finishing in the top three in 100% of his races, DESTINATION DUBAI has only lost once in his career, and although he is stepping up to 2m5f for the first time today, this trip should suit, given how well he won at  Wetherby last month. 

Winning four of his five appearances, Destination Dubai’s sole defeat came in a Grade 2 bumper at Aintree in April, before winning back-to-back races at Hexham and Wetherby on his introduction to hurdles. Although his jumping has been far from perfect in those two starts, Destination Dubai has still won with plenty in hand, scoring by 11 lengths at Hexham and two lengths at Wetherby.  

Staying on well after the final flight at Wetherby, Destination Dubai is expected to take well to this  extended 2m5f trip and improvement in his jumping could well see him tough to stop.
