Milan sit second in Serie A, in what is a congested top of the table at the moment in the Italian top flight. Only three points separates Roma in first and Bologna in fifth, so every result is very consequential at the moment when the top sides in Serie A take to the field.

Milan have the advantage of not being in any European competition this season. The role of Luka Modric is crucial in this system. The 40-year-old can still control a game, and the slower pace of Serie A suits his aging body. Lazio will line up in a 4-3-3.
