The reverse fixture at Elland Road finished 2-2, and it was an entertaining watch. Eli Kroupi's last-gasp equaliser in stoppage time denied Leeds the three points, after the hosts had fought back from 1-0 down to lead 2-1. Recent head-to-head encounters between these sides have been entertaining, and it finished 4-1 when they last met at the Vitality Stadium.

Bournemouth have been one of the more entertaining sides in the Premier League this season, and their average of 3.03 goals per game is a testament to that. With BTTS landing in 22 of their 33 league matches overall, the Cherries have scored 50 and also conceded 50 goals this season. 

Leeds haven't quite been as expansive, but they come into this clash after beating Man United 2-1 at Old Trafford, which should fill them with confidence at the Vitality Stadium here.

Leeds are unbeaten in their last four matches, and have won their last two matches, but Daniel Farke’s men still find themselves in a relegation scrap largely because of their away record this season.

When playing away from Elland Road, Leeds have struggled to sustain pressure, and so have typically spent most of the game in their own half. They have conceded an average of 5.06 corners per game when playing away this season, compared to just 4.24 at home. 

That tendency to be penned in on their travels bodes very well for Bournemouth, who have been excellent at racking up corners at the Vitality Stadium - they are averaging 5.41 per home game this season.

Andoni Iraola's side like to be front-footed in their approach, constantly looking to work the ball wide and cross the ball in. They can be quite direct in their approach, and they should maintain that progressive style here.

Marcus Tavernier is usually the one looking to conclude Bournemouth attacks, and his tally of 62 shots in the Premier League this season is the second-highest in the squad, only behind Evanilson. Tavernier is averaging 2.42 shots per 90 from his 29 Premier League appearances, and he tends to be accurate with his efforts, with 32% of those on target. 

Tavernier has a wand of a left foot, and usually pops up in promising positions in open play, but he is also the designated set-piece taker for the Cherries. Tavernier is usually heavily involved in the final third, with six league goals under his belt this season, and there are plenty of ways he can get over this line against Leeds, whether it be from open play, a free-kick, or even a penalty.

Given how Leeds tend to struggle on their travels, Tavernier should have plenty of chances this weekend.

Alex Jimenez is the most booked player at Bournemouth this season, with nine yellow cards from 32 appearances.

The fullback has adapted well to life in the Premier League on the whole, but he has looked a bit rash at times in his challenges. Jimenez is averaging 1.31 fouls per 90 across all competitions this season, and he has racked up five infringements in his last two appearances alone. 

In the reverse fixture at Elland Road in September, Jimenez committed just a single foul, but that was enough to earn him a booking. He was kept busy by Gabriel Gudmundsson, who has an average of 1.91 fouls drawn per 90 this season, while Noah Okafor has also shown a tendency to drift into wide areas.

The Swiss international has been in great form coming into this clash, which means Jimenez should have plenty of involvement on the defensive front.
