Hearts will look to take another step towards Scottish Premiership glory when they face Motherwell at Fir Park on Saturday night.
Derek McInnes’ side remain in control of their own destiny after coming from behind to secure a statement 2-1 victory over Rangers on Monday.
That triumph leaves Hearts three points ahead of Celtic, while Rangers are seven points off the pace and their title challenge is all but over.
As for Motherwell, they will be aiming to bounce back after falling to a 1-0 defeat away to Falkirk last weekend.

📈 Motherwell v Hearts Form & Tactics
Motherwell have rightly earned widespread plaudits for their performances this season, but their form has dipped as the campaign moves towards its conclusion. The Steelmen have won just one of their last seven Scottish Premiership matches, losing five of those, with their most recent setback a 1-0 defeat away at Falkirk last Saturday.
Despite their current sticky spell, Motherwell still sit 4th and hold a six-point cushion over 5th-placed Hibernian.
Jens Berthel Askou’s side have been hard to beat at home this season, losing just two of their 17 Scottish Premiership fixtures at Fir Park so far, with both defeats coming against bogey team Falkirk.
Motherwell boss Askou generally deploys his side in a fluid 4-2-3-1 formation. Aside from Zach Robinson, who is expected to miss out through injury, the hosts are otherwise in good shape.
Hearts cleared another significant hurdle in their push for the Scottish Premiership title by coming from behind to secure a 2-1 victory over Rangers on Monday. That latest triumph kept Derek McInnes’ team three points clear of Celtic, and they could extend that advantage to six points - at least temporarily - ahead of Sunday’s Old Firm derby.
Hearts have won just one of their last five Scottish Premiership away matches, although that victory came in their most recent road trip at Hibs, in a 2-1 win.
While McInnes has generally favoured a 4-4-2 formation this season, he did switch to a 3-5-2 at half-time against Rangers on Monday. Given how effective it proved, the Hearts boss could be tempted to stick with that setup against Motherwell this weekend.
Hearts remain without Ageu, Calem Nieuwenhof, Christian Borchgrevink, Craig Gordon, Finlay Pollock, Oisin McEntee and Tomas Magnusson due to injury. On a more positive note, Cammy Devlin and Harry Milne could be available again after spells out.
