A midweek victory against Lecce made it back-to-back wins for Napoli, who remain at the top of the Italian top flight.

Antonio Conte’s men have started the season strong in their hopes of retaining the Scudetto, and will aim to maintain that momentum at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Saturday evening.

These Napoli v Como Betting Stats also offer further insight ahead of Saturday's Serie A clash.

These recommended Best Bet Builder Bookmakers are worth a look for Saturday's action, too.

Napoli Double Chance @ 1.18

Napoli may not have been at their free-flowing best against Lecce midweek, but they were able to hold on to a 1-0 victory to retain their status at the top of the Serie A. Prior to that, they were able to pull off another impressive result, beating Inter Milan 3-1 in Naples.

Como haven’t been in bad form either - in fact, they have lost just one league game all season, but they currently sit fifth in the division having been held to four draws. Como have proven themselves to be a difficult side to beat, but just haven’t been able to convert enough games into wins so far.

Last season, Como won just five of their 19 Serie A matches on the road, which really let them down. This term, they haven’t been able to buck that trend, having won just one of their four matches on the road.

Over 1.5 Goals @ 1.36

Como struggled massively in their away games against the big sides last season, losing against AC Milan, Roma, Inter Milan and Juventus. Napoli also prevailed in this head-to-head matchup, as they secured a 3-1 victory at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

The visitors did at least manage to get on the scoresheet in three of those matches to give their fans something to cheer about, and they will hope to do the same this weekend.

While Napoli have been flawless on home turf this campaign, winning all five of their matches in all competitions, they have still conceded five goals in those games, with BTTS landing in each of the last four straight matches. Taking the over 1.5 goal line covers us in the case of BTTS, as well as a home win by a couple of goals.

Frank Anguissa to have 2+ Shots @ 1.44

Napoli's most victory came against title-rivals Inter Milan, which was a massive three points for Gli Azzurri. The only negative from that match was that Kevin De Bruyne hobbled off with an injury after scoring a penalty.

But, even in the absence of the Belgian playmaker, Napoli have plenty of attacking talent. Goals from Scott McTominay and Frank Anguissa secured the spoils for the champions. The latter even managed to score the only goal of the game against Lecce midweek, netting his fourth league goal of the season.

The Cameroon international is well on track to better his tally of six league goals from last season, and he has already popped up with some crucial goals this season already. Anguissa scored the 95th-minute winner against Cagliari earlier in the campaign.

He is averaging 1.97 shots per 90 this season in all competitions, and that attacking influence is only set to increase in the absence of De Bruyne.

Diego Carlos to Commit 1+ Fouls @ 1.30

Napoli’s perfect record on home turf speaks volumes about how much confidence they play with in front of a home crowd. They have seen an uptick in shots at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, but also a notable increase in total fouls drawn.

Napoli are averaging 10.1 fouls drawn on the road, rising to 12.8 fouls drawn when playing at home. Considering Como have committed the most fouls of any team in the Italian top flight this season, those are two trends which marry up nicely here.

Diego Carlos has contributed to Como’s impressive foul record this season, committing eight fouls from his six league starts. The centre back is averaging 1.45 fouls per 90 this season, and has landed this bet in every game so far. In fact, he has been booked in half of his games since moving to the Italian top flight, so is a player to target once again.

📈 Napoli v Como Form & Tactics

Unbeaten in their last eight matches in all competitions, Como have been in strong form this season, and are emerging as challengers for the European spots. They managed to beat Juventus in that run, but the Old Lady have been in really poor form, and recently sacked their manager Igor Tudor following a string of lacklustre results.

Still, Como have competed well since their return to the Italian top flight last season. They finished in a respectable 10th position in the previous campaign, and have gone from strength to strength. Cesc Fabregas’ side have made some noteworthy personnel additions over the summer, namely Alvaro Morata and Diego Carlos, and they seem to be settling in nicely.

But this clash against the league-leaders Napoli is set to be a tough one for them. While Gli Azzurri have shown a vulnerability on their travels, winning three of their seven matches and losing the other four in all competitions, Conte’s side have been imperious at home.

It was no different in the previous campaign - Napoli won 14 of their 19 home matches in Serie A, picking up more points than any other team on home turf. Such an impressive record was integral to their title-winning run.

📔 Napoli v Como Formation & Team News

The hosts will be without De Bruyne this weekend, while Romelu Lukaku remains out with a thigh injury. Goalkeeper Alex Meret is also out with a broken foot, but Vanja Milinkovic-Savic is an adept replacement for him.

Rasmus Hojlund has been battling injury in recent weeks, but was available to make an appearance from the bench midweek, so should be set to re-claim his starting spot up front over Lorenzo Lucca. Billy Gilmour has been the controller in midfield without Stanislav Lobotka.

Alvaro Morata is doubtful for this match, after picking up an injury against Parma, so Anastasios Douvikas could lead the line for Como, with the in-form Nico Paz playing in an advanced midfield role. Lucas Da Cunha and Maximo Perrone will be expected to partner up in a familiar double pivot, and they should have plenty of defensive work to get through against the current champions.
