"We’re taking Jordan Mason to build on an excellent performance last week and get back into the end zone. With the other Vikings’ running back, Aaron Jones, injured, it has opened the door for Mason to get a workhorse role, and he delivered big time against the Bengals with 16 carries, 116 yards, and two touchdowns.

Mason is a bruiser. He’s big, he’s strong, and while being fairly quick, he isn’t truly elusive, but that doesn’t matter in this offense. He’ll get the opportunities to pound the rock, and with 15+ carries in two of his past three games, he’ll have a very good chance of getting another touchdown on the Emerald Isle."

"Despite all the talk about how good this Cleveland Browns defence is, it’s important to remember that the Lions' offense might be just as good by comparison. They’re averaging 34.3 points per game, and Jared Goff has thrown seven touchdown passes in three games. Four of those touchdowns have been caught by Amon-Ra St. Brown.

The Browns have been excellent at stopping the run and haven’t given up more than 225 passing yards to an opposing quarterback yet, but they have allowed a passing touchdown in every game this season, including four to Lamar Jackson. St. Brown is Goff’s go-to guy in the red zone, and I expect him to continue his great touchdown streak here."

"The Bills are the biggest favorite of the young season against the Saints this weekend, but we can still capitalize on the prop market. With an implied team total of 31.5 (also the highest of the season) we can expect plenty of scoring from the Bills offense. Who immediately comes to mind as a beneficiary? James Cook.

After an insane 18 touchdown breakout season last year, James Cook looks on pace for similar numbers this season. He already has a touchdown in every game this season posting 4 total, and he’s one of the fewer backs that also gets real targets out of the backfield as well. While the whole world wants to see Josh Allen sling the ball around, Cook has proven to be a very good redzone back. The Saints profile as a bottom 10 rush defense, and we’ve seen Cook take care of business in much tougher matchup.

Allen is his biggest competition on the ground, but I doubt they want their franchise quarterback running very aggressively in a low stakes game as huge favorites over the Saints. There is no indication anyone is going to challenge Cook for touches until garbage time, and I trust Cook to score before that. "
