Roma v Como Bet Builder Tips & Match Predictions

Fuelled by a passion for sport and a sharp instinct for uncovering patterns in data, beating the bookies became the perfect outlet for my competitive streak. Now I take pleasure in sharing my finds with ABC punters. I enjoy finding niche angles and betting value in a range of markets and leagues, my favourite being in Serie A.
Both Roma and Como have impressed this season, and the pair enter this clash having firmly established themselves as top-four contenders. Roma are currently three points clear of Como and occupy the final Champions League spot, although having suffered back-to-back league defeats, momentum seems to be shifting in the other direction.

📈 Roma v Como Form & Stats
Having spent several weeks at Serie A’s summit, back-to-back losses have seen Gian Piero Gasperini’s Roma drop to 4th in the league, with four points separating them from league leaders AC Milan.
The Giallorossi can be somewhat excused for the first of those losses, which came against reigning champions Napoli; however, a 1-0 defeat to Cagliari last time out proved an unexpected stumbling block. On that occasion, Roma created just 0.36 xG and conceded 1.80 at the other end, although they were hampered by a 52nd-minute Zeki Celik red card.
Shortly after, Roma claimed a 3-0 Europa League victory on the road against Celtic, but it remains to be seen if this will transpire into a league resurgence.
Como’s last outing was similarly disappointing, as they fell to a humbling 4-0 defeat at the hands of Inter. In his post-match press conference, a fiery Fabregas reiterated his commitment to playing an attractive brand of free-flowing football, claiming he’d “prefer to lose 4-0 to Inter than defend”.
With that quote in mind, you’ll no doubt be surprised to learn that prior to that game, Como boasted the league’s best defence, averaging just 0.54 goals conceded per 90. Even now, only Roma have conceded fewer.
That loss put an end to Como’s 12-match unbeaten streak, having otherwise only been defeated by Bologna over the current campaign.
