Darmstadt v Hamburg SV (Bundesliga 2)
🏟
Sunday 6th February – 12:30PM KO
This is a big clash in the 2. Bundesliga. Darmstadt are currently top of the league, securing 39 points from 20 games.
They have also scored the most goals so far this season, with 43 in total. Darmstadt have not lost their last four, and only once in their last twelve league games played. The league leaders have scored 23 goals at home, but have also allowed five goals against in their most recent two games.
HSV are fifth. They trail the league leaders by five points, have drawn a league high 10 matches and have lost only twice. The former-European champions have also only conceded 20 goals against so far, which is a league low.
HSV are also on a streak of four games without losing, and lost just once in their last seventeen.
Darmstadt have scored 23 goals at home, but have also allowed five goals against in their most recent two games, whilst Hamburg have won just one of their last five away games, and have also allowed a goal against in each of these five.
Darmstadt are without Lasse Sobiech, who has played nine matches so far. HSV miss a few players, including Sonny Kittel who is suspended (20 apps).
Jan Gyamerah (13 apps) is also out, but I don’t consider these as crucial players and it shouldn’t hinder them too much.
I expect both sides to score here, and potentially evening each other out. HSV vs Darmstadt saw a 2-2 draw earlier this season.

Holstein Kiel v Dusseldorf (Bundesliga 2)
🏟
Sunday 6th February – 12:30PM KO
We have a matchup between Holstein Kiel, who have been doing well, who face off against a struggling Fortuna Düsseldorf, and I can see the home side booking another win here.
Kiel have been booking some good results, securing eight points from their four most recent games played. They have won twice, and drew twice.
They are now eleventh, with six wins, seven draws and seven losses. They have also managed to remain undefeated in their five most recent matches played, winning three and drawing two.
Düsseldorf in the meantime are sitting in 15th place, one place clear of relegation playoffs.
They have lost three straight and have failed to score in these games as well. The club have also lost three of their last four away games. Düsseldorf have also conceded in each of their last fourteen matches played.
Mühling is suspended for Holstein Kiel, he will be replaced by Lewis Holtby. Stefan Thesker is also a doubt, either Patrick Erras or Simon Lorenz will play if necessary. This should not weaken Kiel too much.
Kristoffer Peterson (18 apps) is out for Düsseldorf and Emmanuel Iyoha is absent as well. It shouldn’t be a major issue to miss these two players, but it won’t make things easier for the struggling side.
Early in the season, the sides drew 2-2 on Düsseldorf soil, but I’m predicting a Kiel win in this clash.

Prediction: Holstein to Win, 2.2 on Betfair (⭐⭐⭐⭐)
TSV 1860 Munchen v Eintracht Braunschweig (3. Liga)
🏟
Sunday 6th February – 12:00PM KO
Both sides are ranked fairly high in the league table. TSV 1860 are ranked slightly lower but do see themselves in eighth place.
They trail 3rd ranked Braunschweig by five points and have a game in hand, so a win could mean they can mathematically pass them pending the game they still need to catch up.
TSV 1860 have won four straight, and have won nine games altogether. They drew eight and lost five and have scored in thirteen games straight. They slipped up a couple of times at home, but the most recent home game was a 3-2 over Wehen Wiesbaden.
Braunschweig meanwhile are third, winning eleven, drawing seven and losing five. Braunschweig have been somewhat mediocre lately. They have won just one of their last four matches, drawing twice as well. The Eintracht men have also managed to score just three goals. If we look at their away record, they have done well, winning six of eleven. They have lost two of their four though.
Earlier this season, the sides played to a 1-1 draw in Braunschweig.
TSV 1860 aren’t really missing any key players, although Fabian Greilinger has scored twice in twelve appearances. Niko Kijewski (18 apps) is out for Braunschweig, but missing one rotation player shouldn’t be too much of a shock. That said, it won’t aid them in a victory here either.
