The return of domestic football is upon us and I am sure you will all be thrilled to know there will be no international football again until March. Even so, the next break is sure to be exciting with the mighty Scots in playoff action as they look to secure their place at the World Cup in Qatar next year!
Anyway, back to the Premier League and with some cracking fixtures on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend I have been balls-deep in research to put together my 5 best betting tips and predictions for the weekend. They will be listed below alongside my thoughts and research behind each selection.
Leicester v Chelsea
🏟
Saturday 20th November – 12:30PM KO
📺
Live on BT Sport 1
Leicester simply don’t do boring games. The style implemented by Brendan Rodgers combined with the quality of their forward players always makes them very entertaining to watch. They welcome league leaders Chelsea to the King Power on Saturday lunchtime in the opening game of the Premier League weekend and I am expecting a classic.
Only Liverpool (31) have scored more than the 27 notched by Chelsea in the Premier League this season. They have proven to be something of a juggernaut so far in the Premier League. Their 1-1 home draw with Burnley prior to the international break though shows they can be gotten at and there is little doubt that Leicester have the quality to hurt them.
Expecting a high-quality affair here with plenty of chances and two sides going for the win. Over 1.5 goals have featured in 82% of the Premier League fixtures involving both Chelsea and Leicester this season and I fully expect this one to follow suit.

Prediction: Over 1.5 Goals
Wolves v West Ham
🏟
Saturday 20th November – 3PM KO
Things simply couldn’t be better at West Ham at the moment. Their performance against Liverpool in the 3-2 win prior to the international break summed up the atmosphere and morale at the club right now and there is no doubt in my mind that David Moyes is building something special.
They are performing exceptionally well both domestically and in Europe and I fancy them to at the very least get a draw at Molineux on Saturday afternoon. West Ham travel to Wolves knowing a win could see them go level on points with leaders Chelsea. They have lost just 2 of their previous 25 in all competitions coming into this one and I fancy them to get all 3 points once more.
As for Wolves, well they are a decent side and currently 9th. They lost their most recent game in pretty convincing fashion away at Crystal Palace and will remain without the services of three key players in the shape of Neto, Otto and Bruno Jordao for this one. Expect West Ham to do the business.

Prediction: West Ham Draw No Bet
Liverpool v Arsenal
🏟
Saturday 20th November – 5:30PM KO

The pick of the games this weekend takes place at Anfield for a massive game between Liverpool and the rejuvenated Arsenal. Now, the Gunners almost always get absolutely pummeled when travelling to Merseyside but recent form would suggest they may just travel to Liverpool with some belief. The last 5 visits to Anfield in the Premier League has seen Arsenal concede 18 goals which gives you an indication of the sorts of wallopings they are used to getting.
Arsenal are one of the league’s most in-form teams and their current eight-game unbeaten streak (W6, D2) is actually the longest of all PL clubs. I am not suggesting I think they will go to Anfield and win but hopefully they will be able to give a better account of themselves than they have in recent years.
Goals the clear standout in this one as is often the case in games involving Liverpool. Their league games have averaged a massive 3.82GPG (Most in the league) and they have an 82% over 2.5 goals success rate (Again, highest in the league). With a confident Arsenal coming to town, I fancy a bit of a classic here on Saturday night with hopefully plenty of goals scored in the process.

Prediction: Over 2.5 Goals
Man City v Everton
🏟
Sunday 21st November – 2PM KO
📺
Live on Sky Sports Main Event & Sky Sports Premier League
We move onto Sunday’s fixtures now and start proceedings at the Etihad where Man City host Everton in the early kick-off. City were at their dominant best prior to the break as they went to Old Trafford and humiliated Man United in their 2-0 win. The scoreline might not on the face of it seem that humiliating but the manner in which they won showed their sheer superiority over their once great city rivals.
On Sunday they host Everton, who after a fast start under the greatly unpopular Rafa Benitez have really hit a wall in recent weeks. They arrive to play the Premier League champions in woeful form and are on a run of 5 league fixtures without a win. There are plenty of suggestions that Rafa could be sacked pretty imminently unless things begin to turn around soon which kind of sums up the current situation at the club.
Everton will once again be without key striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin through injury. Mason Holgate will also miss out through suspension and Tom Davies is the latest to pick up an injury and is expected to miss the remainder of the calendar year. I don’t think it matters too much who plays for the visitors in all honesty though and I fancy City to wipe the floor with them in a routine home win.

Prediction: Man City Half-time/Full-time
Spurs v Leeds
🏟
Sunday 21st November – 4:30PM KO
📺
Live on Sky Sports Main Event & Sky Sports Premier League
The first PL home game for Antonio Conte and he should be feeling pretty settled in now in North London having had the international break to work with his new players. Granted, plenty of them were on international duty but those who remained will now have a decent understanding of what the Italian wants from his players and the high demands he expects.
They host Leeds on Sunday afternoon who haven’t made the best of starts to the new season and currently sit 15th going into the weekend. It all went so swimmingly last season but a combination of injuries to key players and teams working out how Leeds like to play has seen them come unstuck a little this campaign. The continued absence of Patrick Bamford in particular is really hurting them and they look a little toothless in attack. He is likely to remain out here as are Luke Ayling, Jamie Shackleton, Junior Firpo and Robin Koch.
Although Spurs haven’t been great, the appointment of Conte has been met with immense positivity by their fan base and widely acknowledged as a brilliant appointment by the club. Harry Kane should arrive in fine spirits following his 7 goals in 2 games over the break (Yes, SEVEN) and all-in-all, playing at home I fancy Spurs to register their first league win under Conte on Sunday.
