Flint Town v Bala Town
Flint will be generally happy with their start to the season. 3 wins out of 5 matches is impressive considering the strange fact that all their 5 league matches so far have been away from home. Despite this they have managed to score in 4 of their 5 matches, only failing to do so in their 1-0 loss to Cardiff Met, who are in great form. Before the league split last season 9 of Flint’s 11 home matches saw both teams score and back at home they will expect to score again in this match.
Bala Town still look like one of the top teams in the division, especially with a 4-1 and 3-0 win within their last 3 matches. Bala will expect to get a result from this match as they go for another top 3 finish and should be good enough to score in this match. Bala have scored in the last 7 head to heads between the teams, 5 of which have seen both teams score so I would expect both teams to score again in this match.
Caernarfon v Haverfordwest
This is a difficult match to call who will win. Caernarfon have been very strong at home this season and have won all their last 5 home matches in all competitions. They are up against Haverfordwest who have played well in their last 2 matches but have still lost both 3-2. This matchup kicked off the season and only ended 1-0 but that was one of just 3 times in the last 11 matches between the teams where both teams haven’t scored.
Haverfordwest aim to play passing football which has seen them caught out when playing out from the back, but their attacking football also seems to score plenty. This game will be far more open than when the teams met in the opening match and after back-to-back 3-2 losses in their last 2 games, Haverfordwest will most likely be involved in another high scoring match again.
