📈 West Ham v Wolves Form & Stats

West Ham remain in the relegation zone, but they haven’t given up the fight yet. The Hammers have only lost two of their last seven league matches, and because of that, they are just one point adrift of safety. While they were knocked out of the FA Cup by Leeds last time out, Nuno Espirito Santo’s men showed character to fight back and equalise with two goals in stoppage time.

West Ham had so many chances in extra-time, including hitting the post while also having two goals disallowed, but were unable to find the decisive goal. Eventually, they were beaten on penalties, but it was a valiant effort, and the Hammers will hope for a better result on Friday night. Three points at the London Stadium would go a long way in their survival hopes, and they will fancy their chances of getting that against Wolves.

The visitors are 13 points off 17th, but Wolves were in a strong run of form prior to the break, with just one loss in their last six. They took points off Arsenal, Liverpool, and Aston Villa. 15 of Wolves’ 17 points in the Premier League this season have come in 2026, and they will hope to pick up where they left off.

📔 West Ham v Wolves Formation & Team News

West Ham look set to continue in a 4-2-3-1, with Adama Traore operating on the right flank as Summerville remains out. That means Bowen is likely to stay on the left, the opposite of his natural side, with Castellanos leading the line.

Mads Hermansen was left out of the squad against Leeds, and Alphonse Areola seemed to suffer an injury late on - there is a chance that 20-year-old Finaly Herrick could start in between the sticks for the Hammers here, although he did save a penalty in the shootout.

For Wolves, Rob Edwards is expected to go with a similar starting eleven to that which drew against Brentford just before the break. That means a back three of Mosquera, Krejci, and Santiago Bueno. Adam Armstrong scored his first goal for Wolves against the Bees, so he should continue to be supported by Mateus Mane and Bellegarde up front.
