📈 Brentford v Wolves Form & Stats

Wolves were unable to complete the double over Liverpool, as they were beaten 3-1 last time out to knock them out of the FA Cup. They opted for very similar tactics which saw them come away with a 2-1 win in the league meeting, but this time the Reds were more clinical in the final third. Andrew Robertson opened the scoring with a rocket into the bottom corners in the 51st minute, before Mohamed Salah doubled the score shortly after.

Wolves did, however, at least give their fans something to cheer about, as they found the back of the net in stoppage time. They come into this clash having lost just one of their last five Premier League games, and 13 of their 16 points this season have come in 2026.

Brentford’s form has been a lot more consistent this campaign, but they were fortunate to come away with a point in their last league outing. Bournemouth racked up 13 shots and four big chances at the Vitality, but were somehow unable to find the back of the net. Meanwhile, Brentford managed just five shots worth 0.4 xG. The Bees had less luck in the FA Cup last time out, as they were eliminated by West Ham in a penalty shoot-out.

📔 Brentford v Wolves Formation & Team News

Keith Andrews opted for his strongest XI in the FA Cup last time out, which made Brentford’s elimination by West Ham particularly disappointing. Keane Lewis-Potter was deployed at left back, with Aaron Hickey and Rico Henry out injured, but Kristoffer Ajer could shift out to that position on Monday night. Matias Jensen will hope for a return to the starting XI against Wolves, most likely in place of Jordan Henderson.

Rob Edwards also had the freedom to go with a strong XI in the FA Cup, with there being a 10-day gap between that match against Liverpool, and this one against Brentford. Hwang Hee-Chan made his return from injury, and he took just 15 minutes to find the back of the net, so he could reclaim his starting spot up front immediately if he is deemed fit enough. Ladislav Krejci could replace Toti Gomes in defence, while Jackson Tchatchoua looks set to continue at right wing back in place of Rodrigo Gomes.
