Andy's Easter Monday Acca @ 3.60

Leicester simply have to win games like this if they want to survive in the Championship with the race being incredibly tight between five teams to avoid two spots. Sheffield Wednesday have long been relegated from the Championship, and have been the punching bags since - winning just one of their 40 matches.

Leicester came away 2-1 winners when these sides met earlier in the season, managing 27 shots and generating an xG of 2.54. Sheffield Wednesday are clearly a class below even the relegation candidates in the Championship and have conceded 2+ goals in 27 of their 40 Championship matches this term (67.5%).

Leicester were desperately unlucky last time out against Preston, dominating the xG battle (2.21-0.41) and shot count (28-8) but still only claiming a point from that game. Those underlying numbers do however show that Leicester have the quality to get over the line here against a Sheffield Wednesday side that have failed to win a single home game this campaign.

Bolton have been quite fun to watch this season with a blend of academy loan talent and League One experience guiding them to a spot in the playoffs for now. They’ve only lost one of their 19 home games in League One this season, with these matches producing 49 goals (2.57 per game).

Bolton managed to battle to a 2-1 victory over Plymouth last time out, despite going down to 10 men, showing the extent of their scoring power. They lost 2-0 to Stockport in the initial league meeting between the sides, though should get more joy here with their strong home record in the division this term.

Stockport have also seen 49 goals across their 19 away games in League One this season (2.57 per game), and have seen 2+ goals in each of their last five matches across all competitions - winning three of their last four ahead of this important game between two sides firmly in the playoff picture in League One.

This is a huge game in the context of the League Two battle for automatic promotion and the playoff spots as Oldham host MK Dons. Oldham have put together a solid run of form over recent weeks, winning four of their last five matches, to now sit just one point outside of the playoff places.

MK Dons are a bit further up the table, but face a real battle to secure their spot in the automatic promotion places after dropping points on Good Friday. Salford’s last minute winner against Notts County has blown the race for automatic promotion wide open in League Two, so MK Dons can ill afford to drop points again here with three teams sitting just two points behind them ahead of this fixture.

Oldham have seen 2+ goals in four of their last five matches, with their 20 home games producing exactly 40 goals (2.0 per game). They were knocked out by MK Dons in the FA Cup in the most recent head to head meeting between the sides, with that game producing four goals as MK Dons ran out 3-1 winners.

MK Dons boast the strongest away record in the division having avoided defeat in 16 of their 20 away matches. These games have produced 62 goals (3.1 per game) with MK Dons scoring more goals on the road than any other side in League Two this season (40).

Notts County need to bounce back from Friday’s agonising defeat at Salford, where the sides traded three stoppage time goals but The Ammies landed the crucial blow. Particularly hard to take given a point would have kept County in the top three.

Before that, County won away at Harrogate to bounce back from a defeat against Oldham, so they have proved recently that they are capable of putting setbacks quickly behind them, and have dispatched poor teams at home routinely, beating Gillingham, Barrow, Tranmere and Cheltenham since the start of February.

They host Newport who lost on home turf to fellow strugglers Crawley to put a dent in their survival hopes, but as it stands they remain one point above the drop zone. They have lost three of their last four games and I can’t see that changing up against a Notts side who average almost two points per game at Meadow Lane.
