This selection probably takes little convincing with Son’s current form. The South Korean will have an eye on the Golden boot as he sits just 3 goals behind Salah thanks to his hattrick at the weekend, and Spurs are showing no signs of slowing down in the goalscoring department. With Kane the main penalty taker for Spurs, it means none of Son’s goals have come from the spot and he sits top of the Premier League scoring charts for non-penalty goals, showing his influence from open play.
Son has 17 goals and 6 assists in 28 games, meaning he averages a goal contribution every 0.8 games. Son has six goals in his last 3 games with 1 assist added to that impressive run of form too. He has also been enjoying his recent fixtures at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, grabbing 4 goals and 1 assist in his last 3 games on home soil.
Sons xG + xA per 90 sit at 0.72, so there is a pretty decent chance that he will help his side again here. With Spurs high scoring form, I expect them to get on the score sheet a few times here and I am pretty confident that Son will have something to do with it. With the form he’s in, this looks great value at 1.67.

It looks to be a feisty midfield battle too with two fierce sides clashing in the middle as Bissouma lines up against Hojbjerg and Bentancur.

Bissouma picked up a yellow after committing 4 fouls, emphasising his love for a meaty challenge in the middle of the pitch. Brighton as a team aren’t the most disciplined, they sit 5th in fouls committed with 10.65 per game which has seen them pick up the 4th most yellows this campaign, with the Malian midfielder playing a big part in this.
