Man United head into their clash with Roma winless from their last nine matches, which is a dismal record for any Premier League side, let alone a club of their stature.
The Red Devils showed some signs of promise in the first half against Chelsea last time out, but after being reduced to ten men in the second half, they were beaten by the Blues at Stamford Bridge.
