PSG v Arsenal Match Preview

The stakes couldn't be higher at the Puskás Aréna this weekend, as PSG take on Arsenal in the Champions League Final. PSG will be looking to retain the title they won last year, and Luis Enrique's side beat Bayern Munich over two legs to book their spot in the final in Hungary.

Arsenal have had a slightly easier route to this year's final, although they were forced to work hard in their semi-final win over Atletico Madrid, in what was an entertaining contest over two legs.

Luis Enrique is expected to name the same core squad that has carried PSG throughout the knockout stages. Matvey Safonov looks set to start in goal behind a back four of Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, William Pacho and Nuno Mendes. Vitinha, Joao Neves, and Fabian Ruiz are likely to continue in midfield. Dembele, Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue are the likely candidates to feature in the front three, in what has the potential to be a tough night for the Arsenal defence.

Mikel Arteta has a some selection headaches heading into this game, particularly at right back. Ben White is certain to miss the clash with PSG, while Jurrien Timber has missed the last couple of months through injury. Martin Zubimendi deputised at right back last weekend against Crystal Palace, but there is hope that Timber will be fit in time to feature.
