Queen Mother Champion Chase Cheat Sheet

Cheltenham Day 2 Queen Mother Champion Chase Tips & Best Bets
✅ Best Bet (Paddy Power): Il Etait Temps E/W @ 5/1
Majborough is the obvious horse in this year’s edition of the G1 Champion Chase. Whilst there are those who like to pile into a short-priced favourite – I cannot justify backing him at odds-on.
For all of his star quality, which was clearly evident in a romp in Grade One company last time, he has the capability of getting in far too close to a fence. That was apparent in last year’s G1 Arkle Chase, where he made a bad mistake two from home. I’m happy to take him on at the prices with IL ETAIT TEMPS, who on official ratings, is the most likely danger to the favourite. The five-time Grade One-winning chaser has to shackle a 0-3 record at the Cheltenham festival, but I’m giving him another chance to run a big race.
🚀 Longshot (Paddy Power): Quilixios E/W @ 8/1
In most circumstances, I would quickly strike a line through the chance of QUILIXIOS, given how long he has been off the track for.
He was last seen at this fixture last season, when falling at the last fence in the same race. He was in the process of running a mighty race, and due to the fact that he is trained by a master, I cannot leave him alone for a small win play. If he isn’t within striking distance, I would imagine he may be pulled up, so he is worth win-only, just in case the fire is still burning.
18+ please gamble responsibly.
