After a 1–0 loss in his first match in charge of Tottenham, Roberto De Zerbi prepares to lead the team at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first time on Saturday evening against his former side, Brighton.
Spurs currently sit in the relegation zone on 30 points, two points adrift of safety, and their 14-match winless run in the Premier League is showing little sign of coming to an end.

Tottenham v Brighton Match Preview
Roberto De Zerbi's start at Tottenham Hotspur has done little to ease concerns around the club. Saturday's defeat at Sunderland was a laboured performance, Spurs managed just 11 shots worth 0.84 xG, and while Robin Roefs was forced into seven saves, the majority of efforts were speculative. Results elsewhere have compounded the pressure, with Leeds winning at Old Trafford and West Ham also picking up points.
Spurs' home form has been particularly troubling, with just two wins from 16 Premier League matches at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season, amounting to 10 points. De Zerbi is expected to continue in a 4-2-3-1, with Kevin Danso and Micky van de Ven partnering at centre back in the absence of Cristian Romero. Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie should start as full backs, with Conor Gallagher potentially partnering Archie Gray in midfield, and Xavi Simons pushing for a start in the advanced role ahead of Lucas Bergvall. Guglielmo Vicario and Mohammed Kudus remain sidelined.
Brighton arrive in excellent form. Fabian Hürzeler's side beat Burnley 2-0 last time out, with Mats Wieffer scoring twice, and have now won three successive Premier League matches. The Seagulls sit one point behind Brentford in seventh and two behind Chelsea, keeping a European finish within reach.

Brighton Double Chance @ 1.40
Tottenham are winless in 14 league games and sit in the relegation zone, taking just one point from 21 under Igor Tudor. Brighton are thriving, winning five of their last six and sitting on 46 points. With Spurs struggling badly, Brighton look good to avoid defeat.
Tottenham Over 1.5 Cards @ 1.40
Spurs have collected 80 yellow cards in 32 games and average 3.17 cards per home match, with this landing in 14 of 16 at home. Under pressure in the relegation battle, discipline is worsening, and Brighton’s intensity should force Tottenham into more fouls and bookings.
Randal Kolo Muani 1+ Fouls Committed @ 1.36
Kolo Muani averages 2.31 fouls per 90 and has hit this in five of his last seven starts. Likely facing Kadioglu, who draws 1.18 fouls per 90 (10 in last five games), this matchup should force the French forward into multiple fouls again.
Jack Hinshelwood 2+ Shots @ 1.57
Hinshelwood averages 1.8 shots per 90 and has recorded 2+ shots in six of his last seven starts, including three against Arsenal and Villa. Facing a Spurs side conceding the sixth-most shots in the league, the midfielder is well-positioned to maintain his strong shooting output.
