The League One play-off final brings together Bolton and Stockport - two of the strongest attacking units in the division this season - to face off at Wembley, and it promises to be an exciting contest. BTTS landed in neither of Bolton’s semi-final matches, and it was a similar situation for Stockport, but Stevenage and Bradford are two pragmatic sides, so this final promises to be much more open. Stockport scored 71 goals in their 46 league matches this campaign, ranking them 5th for total goals scored, while Bolton were just one goal behind them.
It finished 2-2 when the sides met in their recent league meeting, which was in April, and BTTS landed in the first half. It was an incredibly even contest, with a 50-50 possession split. There is very little to split Bolton and Stockport this weekend, and they will both fancy their chances of at least finding the back of the net at Wembley.
