Since arriving in January, Rayan has shown exciting potential for AFC Bournemouth. The young Brazilian forward has brought pace, flair and direct attacking play, whilst still displaying plenty of raw aspects of his game which need refining. Though still adapting to English football, he looks a brilliant prospect, scoring or assisting in his first three appearances.
Rayan has drawn a blank in his last three appearances, but the prospect of a trip to Turf Moor must be enticing for any attacking player. Scott Parker’s Burnley have conceded 58 goals this season, which is the highest of any side in the league. That has come from 56.4 xGA, so it’s no fluke that they are constantly conceding goals. Their recent form shows an average of 2.2 goals conceded through their last five games. So there are no signs of sudden improvement.
