Crystal Palace were finally able to break their winless run at Selhurst Park last weekend, as they beat Wolves 1-0. It wasn’t the most convincing victory, as basement-dwellers Wolves missed a penalty before having a man sent off after 61 minutes, but it was nevertheless a result which the Eagles will take in the circumstances.
They return their attention to Conference League proceedings on Thursday night, as they hope to secure a spot in the round of 16. The reverse fixture finished 1-1, and it was another result which flattered Oliver Glasner’s men. They managed just 11 shots worth 0.7 xG in Bosnia, and were fortunate not to concede a late penalty.
Palace haven’t looked convincing at the back in recent games, which will give Zrinjski confidence. However, there is still a massive gulf in quality between the two sides, and Palace will hope to generate more chances in front of a home crowd here.
