I’m expecting East Kilbride to secure the victory they need to wrap up the Scottish League Two title on Saturday afternoon when they host Clyde.
Mick Kennedy’s side edged a step closer to automatic promotion with a narrow 1-0 win away at Dumbarton last weekend. That latest victory means East Kilbride have now won 11 of their last 14 league matches, including each of their previous six at K-Park.
As for Clyde, they are locked in 3rd place and will likely already have one eye on their playoff tie with Forfar next week, something that is bound to factor into manager Darren Young’s thinking when it comes to his starting XI. It is also worth noting that the Bully Wee have been beaten in three of their last four league matches on the road.
On top of that, the two sides last met at the end of February, when East Kilbride ran out 3-1 winners, and a similar scoreline would not be a surprise on Saturday.
