I think Celtic will return to winning ways in the Scottish Premiership by claiming all three points away at Falkirk on Sunday.

The Hoops stumbled to a 2-2 draw at home to Dundee United on Wednesday night, but that was only the second time they have dropped points in 11 league matches this season, with the other being their defeat to Rangers.

On the road, Martin O’Neill’s men have been a model of consistency, taking maximum points from each of their five Scottish Premiership away trips this term.

That away record should give Celtic plenty of confidence heading to Falkirk on Sunday.

John McGlynn’s men have started to build momentum after a slow start to the campaign, but they have tended to fall short against the Old Firm.

The Bairns have already lost at home to Rangers this season and went down 2-1 to Celtic in the reverse fixture, and I think a similar scoreline is a strong possibility on Sunday.

It is also worth pointing out that Celtic won each of the five meetings between the sides across all competitions last season.

Camilo Duran continues to cut a talismanic figure for Celtic, and I’m keen to back the Colombian to deliver a goal or assist against Falkirk on Sunday.

The Hoops forward scored for the fourth Scottish Premiership game in succession against Dundee United on Wednesday night, taking his tally to 11 goals in 18 appearances across all competitions this season.

Seven of those strikes have come in the league, including a brace against Falkirk in August.

Duran is not just a goalscorer, either, having also provided 5 assists for Celtic this season, 2 of which came against Hearts a fortnight ago.

Given Falkirk have kept just 1 clean sheet in five Scottish Premiership home games this season, Duran looks worth backing to deliver another goal or assist on Sunday.

Finley Barbrook looks good value to attempt at least one shot against Celtic on Sunday.

The Ipswich Town loanee is a real box-to-box midfielder who is not afraid to try his luck in front of goal. He has averaged 1.16 shots per game in the Scottish Premiership this season and has fired off at least 1 effort in nine of his 10 appearances to date.

Falkirk have deployed him in a more advanced midfield role across their last two matches, and he got 2 shots away against Kilmarnock last weekend before adding another 1 against Aberdeen in midweek.

Celtic may be four points clear at the top of the table, but their defensive frailties were evident once again in Wednesday night’s 2-2 draw with Dundee United.

Both sides like to play on the front foot, so I’m expecting an open, end-to-end encounter in which Barbrook should have opportunities to let fly.
