Tuesday's Both Teams to Score Accumulator @ 7.19

It’s a massive game at the foot of the National League on Tuesday night, as Braintree face Brackley in a relegation six-pointer.

Braintree are currently three points adrift of safety, while Brackley are only above the drop zone on goal difference. Three points would go a long way for these sides in the survival hopes, so they should both be front-footed in their approach, which could make for an entertaining contest.

Brackley have taken just one point from their last nine league games, underlining a worrying defensive record as they have shipped 26 goals in that period. Braintree haven’t been much better, winless in their last four matches, and they have failed to keep a clean sheet for over five weeks.

Neither side have been particularly watertight at the back in recent weeks, making goals a market to target in this clash between two struggling defensive units.

Clyde currently sit third in the Scottish League 2 and boast the best defensive record in the division, with 29 goals conceded in 29 matches.

However, Clyde have let their standards slip in recent weeks, and have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last four games coming into this clash. BTTS has landed in all of those matches, and Clyde have only won one in that stretch.

Stranraer will see that record and be looking forward to this matchup. They are currently just out of the promotion spots on goal difference, so have plenty to play for. The hosts haven’t been in the best of form, but BTTS has landed in five of their last six league games.

These sides only met in the reverse fixture on Saturday, and Clyde managed to hold on to a 2-1 win on home turf.

Eastleigh have been an entertaining side to watch in recent weeks, and BTTS has landed in 12 of their last 14 league matches.

However, they have only won three games in that stretch, and are in danger of being dragged into a relegation scrap. With 68 goals conceded from their 39 league games, they have been one of the leakiest defences in the division. In fact, only Morecambe, Gateshead and Aldershot have conceded more goals than Eastleigh in the National League this season.

However, they have looked strong in the final third, and will hope for a positive result against Sutton United midweek. Sutton are currently just one point and two league positions above Eastleigh, so this promises to be an evenly contested match.

The reverse fixture finished 2-1 to Sutton and BTTS landed comfortably, but Eastleigh will be desperate for a positive result this time round on home turf.

Halifax and Carlisle also both have plenty to play for, as they continue to battle at the top of the pile. Halifax are clinging onto a top-seven spot at the moment, only above Southend by one point, while Carlisle are higher in third, but Boreham Wood and Scunthorpe are vying for their promotion playoff spot.

Halifax come into this clash on a solid run of form, unbeaten in five games, and they have netted 11 goals in that stretch. They have kept three consecutive clean sheets, but extending that streak will prove challenging against Carlisle, considering they have scored 75 goals from their 39 league games this season, ranking fourth in the National League for total goals scored.

Carlisle came away with a 6-2 win against Boston United last time out, meaning BTTS has landed in five of their last six league matches.
