I think Hearts can bounce back from last weekend's 4-2 defeat to Rangers by overcoming Falkirk at Tynecastle on Saturday. Derek McInnes's side have been a tough nut to crack at home all season, highlighted by the fact that they remain the only team in the Scottish Premiership yet to taste defeat in front of their own supporters this term. One of Hearts’ nine Scottish Premiership home wins this season was a comfortable 3-0 triumph over Falkirk at Tynecastle back in September, not to mention the Jam Tarts also beat the Bairns on their own patch towards the end of 2025.
While John McGlynn's men did knock Hearts out of the Scottish Cup at Tynecastle last month via a penalty shoot-out, that result could actually work against them here, as Hearts are unlikely to take the Bairns lightly this time around. What’s more, Falkirk come into this clash off the back of a 3-2 home defeat to Dundee United last weekend, but this promises to be a much sterner test. With Falkirk likely to be forced to field a makeshift defence due to suspensions and an ineligible Hearts loanee, the case for backing the hosts to get their title push back on track only grows stronger.
