Lens are inches away from creating a bit of history in the French top flight. They’ve become the first side in nearly 10 years to actually lay down a significant challenge to the dominance of PSG, currently sitting four points behind Luis Enrique’s side ahead of the final stretch of the season.
Lens will have to be close to perfect from here on in if they are to get close to the Ligue 1 title, with PSG holding a game in hand on their challengers - though that game in hand is against Lens, so the chasing side do still have a realistic chance of making this a close race between now and the end of the season.
Lens came away 3-0 winners when these sides met earlier in the season, aided by Toulouse being reduced to 10 men in the first half. Lens boast the best home record of any side in Ligue 1 this term, winning 12 of their 14 matches in front of their home fans. They’ve scored 31 goals across these games, and only conceded nine - making this look like a really tough assignment for Toulouse on paper.

This is a massive game at the bottom of the Bundesliga, particularly for St Pauli, with just five points separating the teams and the home side currently sitting in the drop zone. The meeting between the sides earlier in the season ended in a 1-1 draw, with Koln being a little unlucky to lose a few points in that clash having conceded from St Pauli’s solitary effort on target.
Koln have seen 2+ goals in each of their last five matches across all competitions, most recently coming away 3-1 winners over Werder Bremen at home, which was a massive three points in their hunt for survival. However, this was the first win that Koln have managed since the end of January - so there is a vulnerability about the away side which can be exploited by St Pauli.
St Pauli have also failed to win any of their last five matches in the Bundesliga, a run that has slowly distanced them from safety. They’ve only won four of their 14 home games in the Bundesliga this season, conceding 25 goals across these matches (1.78 per game).
