There is a tonne of recent form to support this line.

Boro scored with all three of their shots against Birmingham last time out, but three shots on target at Birmingham is actually a good return given how dominant the Blues have been at home in the Championship.

Outside of that, though, Boro have hit this four or more shots on target line in their previous eight matches, which includes away matches at Coventry (four shots on target), Sheffield United (nine), Stoke City (five), and West Brom (five).

They are averaging 4.37 shots on target per match away from home this season, which is only a touch down on their average at home of 4.67.

QPR have actually been ok at keeping shots on target against them down at home, but on the other hand, they have recently conceded nine shots on target at Southampton, four against Hull, four against Blackburn, and five against Charlton.

QPR aren’t huge corner winners, but the line for them to win four or more is a good price for a fairly modest line.

Their average for the season at Loftus Road is winning 5.94 corners per match, which is obviously a good chunk above the requested line here. Recent matches at Loftus Road have seen QPR win the following numbers of corners: 7 (most recent vs Sheffield United), 8, 5, 7, 5, 7, 2, 6, 4, 9, 12. This means that QPR have easily hit this target in 10 of their last 11 home matches.

Obviously, Boro do present a more difficult challenge than the average Championship team. However, Middlesbrough did concede six corners to Birmingham in their last away match, and though Coventry only won three, Sheff Utd won eight, Stoke got five, West Brom four, and Derby four, in the previous five away matches that Boro have played.

Kone may only have an average of 0.75 fouls against him per 90 minutes played in the league so far this season, but recently, he has either become more of a target or Kone has been playing for fouls a bit more.

His last 10 games have seen him average 1.31 fouls per 90, and his price hasn’t reflected that change at all. Indeed, he was fouled twice last time against Sheffield United, once against Southampton, three times against Hull, and twice against Blackburn, so eight times in his last four matches.

Even going slightly further back, he has been fouled in eight of his last ten starts, so this price represents some value in my opinion.

Looking at his potential opponents, Dael Fry doesn’t give many fouls away, but Adilson Malanda has committed four in his two matches, and Luke Ayling, in Kone’s preferred channel. Has committed at least one foul in five of his last eight starts.

This is priced up much bigger than I think it should be still. We backed this line for Targett against Birmingham, and he obliged by fouling twice, which was a very big price.

Much of the reasoning for backing Targett remains similar to that of the Birmingham match, except there is now an even stronger case against him. Given the two fouls at St. Andrew’s, he has now committed at least one foul in each of his last four Championship appearances, and five of his last six.

His average for the campaign is sitting at 0.74 fouls per 90, which is fairly low, but he is still a big price, and when we consider that a good percentage of his season has been spent at central defence covering for an injury crisis, this improves his record to become backable here.

Kim Hellberg switched up his system to a back five against Birmingham with Targett at wing-back. Whether that remains against QPR, I don’t know, but if not wing-back, then Targett will play left-back, but it is not easy to identify exactly who might be Targett’s direct opponent for QPR.

Possible candidates are Paul Smyth (3.18 fouls against per 90 at home) or Amadou Mbengue (1.41), both of whom are in the top three for fouls against in the QPR regular starters. Harvey Vale has played right midfield recently and suffered three fouls in three matches.
