This time to Serie A where we have another familiar name, and in fact one who is still contracted to Aston Villa, having joined Roma on loan in January. Malen only scored 10 goals in 46 appearances for Unai Emery’s side, albeit the majority of those appearances came as a substitute. He has, however, made a superb start to life in Italy, notching five goals in six appearances and averaging 3.8 shots per 90.
Roma are currently well positioned for Champions League qualification, occupying 4th spot in Serie A and 2nd spot in the home table. They have scored two goals or more in their last three league outings. They host a Juventus side who are in 5th spot, four points behind them. They are winless in three league games and have conceded two goals or more in their last three games. They have failed to win more often than not on the road. Roma, and in particular Malen, should be able to exploit that lack of confidence.
