Stuttgart have looked pretty shaky at the back, giving up more than 18 shots a game and conceding in all three of their Bundesliga home matches.
That includes a 3-2 defeat to Borussia Mönchengladbach, who are bottom of the table.
Werder Bremen, meanwhile, are flying. They’ve scored 17 goals in eight games and found the net in every league match so far.
Their games have been pretty entertaining too, with both teams scoring in seven of their eight matches, including all four away games.
The catch is that they’re much weaker at the back away from home, conceding 2.25 goals per game and averaging 2.18 xGA.
Ermedin Demirović is expected to start for Stuttgart and has been their main man up front, with five Bundesliga goals, including four in his last two games.
On the other side, there’s Niclas Füllkrug, who’s been on fire. He’s the league’s top scorer with nine goals and has scored in each of his last seven matches.
